Mrs. @No Worries and I just finished the first (and only season) of The Diplomat Suspension of disbelief is required, but once you get past that it was quite enjoyable.
Just watched Jury Duty on Amazon Prime. Eight 30 min episodes where one person thinks he's part of documenting the Jury Duty experience but every one else involved is an actor. Its a short entertaining watch.
I watched the diplomat. It was enjoyable but a bit of a scam if you want a complete and self contained season. I would wait for a season 2 before binge watching if you don't like cliffhangers.
My lady friend just turned me on to Shrinking on Apple TV and I've laughed out loud a number of times in the first couple episodes. Its really well written and has some sharp dialog. Not sure if its been discussed here or how I missed it before now?!?
Sanctuary is good, not great. Japanese series about a rising "bad boy" sumo that tries to play by his own rules in the traditional sumo world.....
It stays strong the entire season. Loved it. just finished Daisy Jones and the Six. I actually really enjoyed it. Worth watching.
Really like the following: The Diplomat. Keri Russell. The Silo. (Apple TV) Very good scifi. The Citadel. (Prime) Very good spy story with lots of twists and turns. The Last Thing He Told Me (Apple TV). Tetris (Apple TV) Awesome film. Air (Prime) - best film I have seen in over a year.
Just watched this over the weekend ion Prime............weird but pretty good. Waltz is freaky good in his role The Consultant is an American thriller television series created by Tony Basgallop, based on the novel of the same name by Bentley Little and starring Christoph Waltz as the titular character, with Nat Wolff, Brittany O'Grady, and Aimee Carrero in supporting roles. The series follows the employees of a mobile gaming company whose leadership is taken over by a sinister consultant, played by Waltz.
I get nobody has Peacock, but I signed up for a trial to watch Poker Face, and am really enjoying Mrs. Davis, about a sort-of nun talking on a world-spanning AI: Probably not for everyone, reminds me a little of Utopia, which i really liked but which was canceled after 1 season.
