Who is poor enough that they only have 1 first floor guest bathroom? Any of these people can happily use the 1st floor bathroom...as long as they use the bathroom in the mother-in-law suite.
OMG, this is awful on so many levels. 1. Approaching a stranger to use their bathroom in their house. 2. Not disclosing that this is not a "#1 situation", but rather a more serious matter. 3. Deceptively utilizing the 5-year old girl to make the request, knowing full well that she's not the one who needs the bathroom. 4. Not doing whatever it takes to clean the toilet after destroying it. I'm not even sure what I would have done in response, but hosing them down on their way out should have been on the table.
In my first house, two guys came to connect my cable and one of them had a terrible time in my bathroom throwing up and who knows what else. It was weird being able to hear him but whatever, **** happens. I have lysol and he didnt leave it a mess when he was done. Anyone who isnt going to come kill me can use my guest restroom.
