Of course, it’s Caserio if it’s Levis but Demeco if it’s anyone else you want. You jackasses are too typical
I don’t see Richardson busting. I see Richardson as plug and play learn on the fly aka..cam/josh Allen. richardson with his rushing ability alone will be a threat on qb sneaks/4th downs and at the goal line. I also think Richardsons inaccuracies on film is overblown
I like AR, a lot. But he needs time. He’s got a long way to go, and it wouldn’t be fair to him to throw him in. I think Levis is a Josh Allen clone, not as fast as AR but a legitimate athlete with a cannon. Both have huge upside, AR even more because of his age.
Levis can do these things. He's a very strong runner, very athletic. But not as fast or athletic as Richardson, who's probably the most athletic guy to ever play the QB position.
There's a reason Richardson didn't get a top 30 visit. He's a bad fit for a WCO. Also If Levis is the pick at 1-2 then you can believe Levis is Ryans/Slowik's guy. Caserio is just getting the players Ryans wants. In short if there's a differing opinion between Ryans and Caserio, Ryans is going to make the final call and get his guy.
I don’t know who would get the final call on what player position, but when to comes to QB there’s no way they are taking a guy that slowik and the offensive coaches don’t want. i know people like to scapegoat Caserio but by all accounts he is extremely collaborative.
What would Levis be rated in this draft if he was built like CJ Stroud or Stetson Bennet? Would he even be rated a first rounder by anyone? What does he do well besides scoring well on an S2 computer test?
Let’s see, he’s got a cannon with a ridiculously fast release, he’s highly accurate, extremely athletic, tough, a leader, smart and driven.
Not highly accurate. Cannon with fast release, yes. Athletic, but not extremely so. Both of these factors are somewhat tied to his size. The reality is with his actual performance on the field, he wouldn’t be a first round QB if he wasn’t a physical specimen with high potential because most of his draft stock is built on potential. Nothing wrong with that really, but have to acknowledge that fact.
Lets also acknowledge that fact that when given a chance to ask a question at the Manning Academy. He asked Peyton about how to market himself in which Peyton calmly brought it back to being good at football and the rest will take care of itself. Assuming the Texans organization caught wind of this, is a HUGE red flag. Shows a lack of intelligence/social awareness to the utmost degree.
Maybe a lack of true focus on football more than anything. He's a finance major, it makes sense that he would try to maximize his earnings, but it's just bad look. He's clearly highly intelligent based on all the time I've heard him speak and his academics. I'm more concerned that he doesn't seem to have a natural feel for pocket pressure and that his high off the field intelligence doesn't translate so far to reading coverages. All factors that he could explain in his interviews given the overall turmoil at Kentucky in general.
There’s been multiple metrics and scouts that have broke down his accuracy, specially adjusted accuracy. He is accurate, very accurate when factoring in drops/off target/good coverage. Yes, he is extremely athletic. He is the new age prototype from a size/arm/athletic standpoint. That isn’t arguable. He’s older and forces plays he shouldn’t, that is his negatives
Stop this bullshit. He has a masters in finance and talking to one of the most successful QB ever in terms of endorsements and commercials. I bet you said nothing when Watson cared about his brand or any other athlete that does. Stop it, you’re coming across too obvious.
He has a masters in finance. Was it a bad look when Watson cared about his brand? Or any other athlete? It’s not a bad look to ask the most successful QB ever in terms of commercials and branding that question.
There are degrees to everything. Anthony Richardson is extremely athletic. None of Levis' testing scores are elite athletically. He is a good to really good athlete who runs around a 4.69 which was his last tested number. We've already went over his accuracy numbers extensively and identified where he struggles. It's not a serious issue so I won't rehash it.
Indeed, it's a red flag. Demonstrates immaturity and me-first mentality, which is prevalent in the modern athlete. Rookies should be intensely focused on winning football games and improving their game. We need dedicated leaders willing to sacrifice for the team!
