The suspension definitely served as a major turning point no matter if they win it or just stayed alive.

 

Sacramento making the same mistakes which the Rockets did against the Warriors in the Playoffs.

The failure to capitalise when Curry/Klay miss and let the Warriors get offensive rebounds - seemingly always come at pivotal moments when huge momentum swings are a possession or two away.

The overextending on the defensive end to try and stop Curry/Klay which just throws the entire balance out of whack allowing easy baskets that always seem to be back breakers.

The panic that sets in thinking you need to match them 3 for the 3 which makes you go away from your offense just to launch bad shots.

Not to mention the refs on top of that. I skipped through most of the game but what I did see:
- Sabonis mugged on a couple of occasions with no call
- Draymond already with one T, screaming in the face of Fox after he drew a foul on him. Funny I thought direct taunting was a T.
- Steph with an arm hook on Sabonis right before one of his 3s - the kind of play people jerk themselves off to whilst saying sucked in to Harden for getting called for an offensive foul doing it
- based on the above, guessing there were the usual amount of calls for the Warriors in a playoff game

Watching this series hammers home the fact just how big James Harden's balls were to back these b*tches against a wall... whilst they also had a prime Kevin Durant. And there's fans on Clutchfans who have the audacity to trash him still. It's equal parts hilarious as it is absurd.

Also Doris Burke, retire. Please. For humanity. Holy hell she is insufferable.

Objectively Harden was alright against the Worriers but it was Chris Paul that one year that feasted on them.

Now the Suns have Durant, Paul and Booker on the same team, the best 3 midrange specialists.

Sabonis is playing alright, but it’s clear that they’re screwed without the young bucket getter in De’Arron Fox who is carrying the entire team

 

I guess he's played alright. I think if you took out Sabonis and injected a 3&D forward the team would look better.

Same for Jokic - he's balling as an MVP should, but his team goes as Jamal Murray goes. Embiid to a lesser extent. Im just rolling my eyes at how some guys gassed up Sabonis as a difference maker. Great player, but playoff basketball is a different animal.

These players who live in the paint with no outside shot and suspect defense get played off the court during April and May. They do help during the regular season though I'll say that much while you're fighting for playoff position.
