anyone else salivating over the fact that the Nets have Mikal Bridges and we have their picks?

We trade some of the Nets picks back to them in exchange for Bridges and sign James Harden in the offseason is my ultimate dream scenario.

    Harden
    Green
    Bridges
    Jabari
    Sengun

is a hella nice lineup. That's before even factoring our 1-5# draft pick.

    Green, Porter, & Martin
    …For…
    Both Orlando’s 2023 FRPs unprotected
    -Don’t want to pay Martin
    -Porter’s timeline is over
-Cashing in on Green before the next coach exposes him for who he is. Lack of fundamentals and Basketball IQ.

    dream scenario:
    Our pick - Brandon Miller
    Orlando - Jarace Walker
    Orlando - Bulls - Jalen Hood-Schifino
Our pick - Clippers - Gradey Dick
    ————
    New coach - Kelvin Sampson
    ————
    Hood / Dick / Miller / Walker / Smith —> Sengun 6th man
    ————
    Depth - Eason / Washington / Christopher / Garuba
    ————
Some growing pains but winning will happen and start happening often.

Flo: "Come on, Champ. Let's get you some ice cream."
    Jamie: "With sprinkles?"
    Flo: "Sprinkles are for winners."

not exactly the trade I’d do . But @Nook did say we were interested in Suggs .

green for Suggs and the higher pick ?

I was very high on Suggs in the draft and thought he would be better than he has been so far . But he’s shown growth in ORL this year

I am really high on - Jalen Hood-Schifino. I believe he is value point guard in the draft. Best 2 way point. We could pick him up for 1/2 the cost of Suggs & 2 more years of contract control.

Looking for a better draft pick..

    Martin, Porter & FRP20 (Clippers)
    …for…
FRP 7- 11 (Pacers Jazz Wizards Mavs or Magic/Bulls)

We seem to be overpaying but we are cleaning up at the same time. Win/Win, The other franchise is getting a proven player in Martin and wildcard in Porter both have clocked a lot of NBA successful minutes. Then the FRP20 for the same tier player but not of their choice.
We get a starter type talent that goes with the new coach. Not a super star but a very good player that fit our new direction. I think we go fit & function over BPA with this pick.

I think he's good too. I also like Anthony Black, Cason Wallace. I think if you pick any point guard not named Scoot though you should plan for him to come off the bench as a rookie, so it makes sense to grab a veteran who can start. Suggs could still break out at some point but he's looking like a potential bust right now so I don't know about that one.

Did you say we seem to be overpaying??

Not many teams trade a mid lotto pick for 2 average level NBA players

I dunno, maybe it does happen?

I think that Porter has a trade value of a end of the first round pick. And I think that would come specifically because of a fringe contender thinking his talent could put them over the top. The hope is that he continues to grow in maturity on and off the court.

How about Martin+Tate for Patrick Williams.

I think some are in win now mode. I also put the Clippers pick in there, too. Porter stat line is solid. IDK. Thanks for adding your thoughts. I really don’t know what to think with so much transition happening.

I would be willing to add the 20th plus Martin and Tate for Patrick Williams. Tate is somewhat injury prone.

I am really interested in Nic Claxton. What do y’all think his trade value is?

    Is #19, Martin, Christopher enough?

Let's say the Rockets fall somewhere outside of the top 2, draft B. Miller or a Thompson twin. Draft James Naji at #20

Sign Nurse, trade KPJ & JC for Lowry

Trade Tate for Grant Williams S&T (3/45)

    Sign Dante DiVincenzo (3/45)

Sign Brook Lopez (1/25 w/ TO)

    Green / Lowry / Washington
    DiVincenzo / Thompson
    Williams / Martin
    Smith / Eason / Garuba
    Lopez / Sengun / Nnaji
