If you include October, yes it's true. 28.1 innings to finish last season with 2 runs, 11.1 scoreless in October, and 11.1 innings with one run this season.

    He's been absurd.

There was a report of Altuve being ahead of schedule but I still believe it's a miracle if he returns before June, prob mid June

Why can't we give Jose Abreu a day off? I see he's DH today.

Dusty acting likes he's got 25 RBIs on the season.

Bannon is a goner, that's a no brainer.

The Yainer Diaz situation is immensely frustrating. He is hitting the ball really hard (5-14 his last 4 games), and has yet to lose as the starting catcher.

He absolutely has a plate discipline issue, but you let a guy play one f**king game a week and then tell him to "go up there and be patient". If you want a guy to be committed to better plate judgement then let MLB pitchers start lighting his ass up because he can't lay off pitches. As is, he's probably just angry because he thinks he can play and Dusty won't let him, I would imagine I would be as well.

Dusty is acting like Abreu didn't fall off the Grand Canyon the 2nd half of last season

He's an older player and needs to DH/DNP twice a week

Would anybody contest that Dusty is STUBBORN?

After an initial quick start, Hensley has gone cold. But he gets a start at 1B while Abreu gets a DH day. I've wanted to see our 6'6' 1B on the receiving end of the throws.

Alvarez gets a start in a big OF. I'm actually surprised Maldonado isn't getting the early day game off.

Maldy cannot get the day off because that gives Diaz another chance to outshine him. It’s absolutely imperative that they play a shitty 38 year old catcher 80% of the starts.

You’d think Maldy would recognize his deficiencies and insist diaz start more games

The way Maldy whined about the organization trying to get another catcher this off season, I wouldn't see this happening. Maldy will have to be sat down, he's not voluntarily sitting down.

If there's anything I know about Dusty, he's gonna give proven veterans a ton of rope to work out their batting woes in live action. Particularly someone like Abreu who was both a premier FA signee as well as a known slow starter.

players have scheduled days off in advance, Dusty's just too stubborn to change it. No matter what.
