I’m totally liking the sped up games. 2:22 min game. We win and now I can get on with other things…and oh yea, she likes it too. (Yea stole that)
BTW, the Atlanta fan that threw Yordans HR ball back is an absolute moron. Alvarez is a very likely HOFer, you hold that ball and see if you can’t get it signed somehow or at least keep it
It’s the best rule change in the history of sports. The pace of the games is so much better now it’s crazy. Now we just need to get the balls/strikes challenges implemented and there won’t be too much left to complain about.
100% agree the pitch clock is a positive change. Loving these under 2 and a half hour games. Especially the ones that go in the win column.
The fact that so many were bemoaning missing out on time soent scratching, spitting and doing nothing all preseason was bizarre to me. this is awesome. we didn’t miss a single play or any bit of baseball with this rule change, just cut down on the boring nothingness and retuned the game to its roots as a 2:30 or so pastime (would be 2:00 like back in the day without major commercials but they will never happen).
Yeah, maybe, maybe no. I would have maybe guessed Seattle for a year, but no, that is not the case (I love that we went 18-1 vs them in 2019, how did they win that one game?) Who are these teams? (I would have also guessed Tampa, but we're 9-3 over the past 2 years...so hell if I know, you need to tell me)
