But I get it, some people confuse threatening to bomb a factor because they gave a transgender person a beer can as love.

First of all, you just made that up. Second, who doesn't believe transpeople exist? That they aren't real? o_O Everyone knows that there are people who feel some type of way about themselves, not accepting those feelings as reality is not denying their existence.

This is equivalent of right wing brown shirts in 1920s Weimar Germany saying "We don't deny the existence of Jews! We just use every hour of the 24 hour news cycle to crap on them till people have all empathy removed for them"

    Acceptance is one issue.

Another is attacking a group of people, mocking them, discrimination, and threatening anyone who supports them - that's not "unacceptance" - that's hate. Hey, you're allowed to hate whatever you want. You can hate broccoli if you want, you can hate Mexicans, and you can hate Transgender women.

But let's not pussyfoot around what this is all about. At least own it.

I don't know what you mean. What does Congress being deadlocked have to do with what people post on Clutchfans?
Small government is fewer intrusions into our lives. Passing nothing into law is great for that. Repealing existing laws would be even better, but that requires cooperation, and that is more likely to lead to new laws being passed. I am not delusional enough to think the Democrats in the Senate and President Biden are going to go along with a deregulation agenda, so gridlock is the best I can hope for. It doesn't matter what bills the House passes that they know are not going to be implemented, because it all has the same effect of nothing happening. They can also spend their time in hearings, pass bills naming park benches and post offices, or anything else that doesn't increase the power of the Federal government.

That is the only issue I brought up.

You should discuss the rest of what you talked about with those who act that way or care about that.

Just looked at the poll. What's interesting is that the leftist activists on this forum are much louder and more vocal and hateful (accusing those who don't go along with their ideology of being "hateful" or "fascist" and not realizing that they are actually the hateful ones).

These woke leftists might even think they are in the majority...in their own echo chamber.

But when you look at the result of the poll, more than a 2/3 largely silent majority is on the reasonable side - even in this subsection of the forum where woke leftist extremists routinely run amok.

Fair enough and I can see how that would appeal to your sensibilities.

Not directed at you but there are many who decry “virtue signaling” passing a law that you know never will be implemented is virtue signalling.

I agree that it is virtue signaling. I agree that virtue signaling is a sad capitulation to realpolitik. I prefer it to passing actual laws that I don't want passed.
