Nurse is better than Vogel but Ime clears both. Wouldn’t be unhappy with Nurse though.

Because Raptors actually have competent management.

Nurse was making $8 million a year. There is no way Tillman will pay him $8 million so we don't really have a chance.

Would Nurse take $5 million? I think that is THE MAX Tillman will pay and I think it hampers our chances to get Nurse and probably Udoka.

If he hire an inexperienced coach to save money, so help me...

Wanna bet Tilman pays the next coach over $7 mil a year? $40 tip jar?

I don't know anything about this situation, but often times, guys are fired not because they did a bad job, but for a myriad of other reasons.

IF he was fired specifically because he did do a bad job and/or is just a bad coach, then we definitely should look elsewhere.

How much did MDA and Silas make as Rockets coach? Tilman is cheap af so you are probably right.

Meh. They know how much Nurse costs before coming to the table, they wouldn't bother sending out a press release if they had an issue with it.

The bigger danger is: BECAUSE he's spending $8m, he'll want a bigger say in the decision.

Bring in Nurse, trade for Lowry, move on from KPJ. Rockets culture and offensive system is massively improved with just those 3 moves.

Udoka could be lined up for the Raptors gig (nigarian connection).

Don't wait Rockets, snatch him up before teams like the Pistons do.

We're also a bit fortunate the Wizard fired their GM, but kept their coach. Even if that coach might be lame duck; competition-wise, it's one less head coaching buyer on the market.

Anunoby and FVV both gave Nurse glowing endorsements after Toronto's play-in loss and we already know they're both Rockets targets this offseason. Interesting thing to think about.

So I guess I’ll say it. Do we really want a guy who was fired for workplace harassment of a female to lead a group of young players? I mean, the nets were going to hire him before Kyrie/Durant left but that quickly fell through.

I'll cut Tilman a deal, I'll coach for $1 mil. I'm a good coach. I'll roll the ball out there and say you miss a shot, you're benched until every other player on the depth chart at your position misses a shot. That will keep them focused. You know they get incentived to make x amount of points and x amount of minutes. You want to play? Make your shots. You better come to the game warmed up cause I'm not gonna let you use the clock to get into a rhythm.

Maybe the Rockets’ big free agent target is Josh Primo.
