There is no cost in giving them a bunch of old decommissioned stuff we would write off. We get to weaken a historical adversary without lifting a finger. China benefits from the war also which is why they are on the sidelines. A weak Russia allows them the pillage them for their natural resources.

Putin could have used the oil money to make Russia a world power, but instead made them into a third world country that happens to have nukes.

Russians are admitting to rounding up thousands Ukrainian POWs and throwing them in a pit shoulder to shoulder and throwing a grenade to watch them blow up.

I lose more faith in society every day

It's my understanding Russia is still selling oil to China and India. Sanctions are still causing them to lose a fortune but they still have willing buyers keeping them from completely tanking like the Rockets for the past 3 years.

How China and India’s appetite for oil and gas kept Russia afloat

Theyre selling at a HUGE discount. Something like $20 barrel under market price.

Also, any statistics coming out of Russia are total bullshit and the extemely limited transparency they used to provide is totally gone, so I wouldnt rely on official Russian statistics.

Remember oil is a global market. Its why biden folks didnt put sanctions on russian oil cuz they didnt want gas prices exploding even higher. The USA has no problem with india/china buy their oil as long as its discounted. Keeps global prices stable and inflicts a pain on russia as theyre selling on discounts. Win win for everyone

I wonder how this conversation went. "Hey we've been watching you manufacture those shells from our satellite and we know you're shipping next Monday. You have 24 hours to reroute your shipment to Ukraine or else we take back all of our weapons"

The pentagon has eyes in every corner of the world. Idiots like tucker don't understand the power of intelligence.

More examples of why having an energy system based on fossil fuels is a bad idea.

There is zero chance that the Congressmen/women with the highest clearance do not know the answer to Matt Groomer's question.

Jesus no, that is not our business, we are a republic, not a democracy, we shouldn't put our country in danger of war by disclosing things publicly to our enemies.

Matt Gaetz should be in prison for child trafficking, the guy is a cancer to this country.

If we have troops in Ukraine without congressional authorization, we definitely need to know that.

You need congressional approval for combat soliders. In the lend lease act biden signed last year he can train whatever troops he wants too without Congress. These soliders you keep referring to are around the embassy.

Might be some technical advisors there somewhere too, but we aren't going to announce that publicly.

But Matt Groomer and Fox News have to appease the dumb, cousin-****ing terrorists. They have no choice.

To answer the question of why Ukraine is fighting to "save" Bakhmut, it is as good as any place to fight the Russians.

And seeing how poorly the Russian are fighting, Bakhmut is as good as any place for the Russian soldiers to die.

When the Ukrainian spring offensive starts, any doubt the Wagner Group will keep fighting and losing in Bakhmut while the Ukrainian Army attacks elsewhere?
