Bregman is a notoriously slow starter as well (as was Bagwell, ask him about that the next time you're dining together at Morton's)....

It just sucks that we've got injured guys and slow-starting guys all together here in April.

Now, the bullpen, that's something I cannot explain yet.

bullpen is the easiest thing of all to explain... Bullpens- they are super volatile and never trust a reliever to be consistent from year to year (other than the absolute best). It's tough job, small sample size, and it's the guys who showed they were not good enough for some reason to start. So, you get what you get and it's a grab bag usually for half the guys in the pen.

    "all non-curmudgeons of all time"

You know that you have to expound on this now, right?

    Hmmm...that's a good list.

McCaughnaey, Ann-Margaret, Brendan Gleeson, Casey Candaele, C3PO, Not Indy Jones but the guy who tried to steal the golden head (because that took balls), Rachel Robinson, John Bonham, Hank Aaron, Neil Armstrong, Waylon Jennings, Daisy Duke, and probably somebody else. (eta: it was Bill Doran)

    So there.

I mean if that ball had gotten past Bregman I would have temporarily been pissed, but if someone has to get the RBIs I'd want it to be him.

When we have a 10 run lead.

Was at the game. First off, tremendously solid start from Garcia. I hope this is a sign of things to come. Doesn't have to be 7 scoreless each time, but at quality starts. Second, ******* Montero is a bum. Third, what a great Houdini act by Abreu and hey the offense showed up too!

Oh I'll **** talk him PLENTY. Punk ass b**** wanted out to escape the cheating label instead of staying with us like a man. Glad he failed miserably this series. He's dead to me.
