Some of the words you mentioned might not be accurate in some cases but still aren't authoritarian.

This makes no sense even for you. So anyone that uses language to craft repeatable buzzwords to pursue behavioral change is..... trying to create an autocratic dictatorship with the government of which they preside??

So when Marvin Zindler coined the phrase "Slime in The Ice-Machine!!" his intent was to weaponize the fear of refrigeration in order to.... install himself as supreme leader of the United States???

Using phrases or words to persuade is something EVERYONE does every day. We see it in marketing, in education, in social relationships, DEFINITELY in church, and of course in politics.

You guys are just creating a distraction here so you can have something that demonizes the other side, but also is a wink wink at the conspiracy theories I'm sure you are trafficking in. You and AroundtheWorld should just grow some balls and say what you really want to say in that you believe bizarre conspiracy theories about liberals trying to control your mind so they can do whatever you believe lizard people demons want to do with you.

And yes...If you genuinely believe that Democratic policies are there to pursue an Autocratic Dictatorship form of government, then you aren't living in a world of facts and truth. You are more and more exposing yourself as an obvious believer in right wing Qanon ,conspiracy theories, but you know better so you try to wink wink instead of just growing balls, and saying what the hell you want to say.

You want to be a Qanon nut... please... just grow a pair and do it. Stop wasting our time beating around the bush with stupid nonsensical arguments.

One of the dumbest statements I've seen even him make. Using words to persuade is EXACTLY what Democracy is supposed to be. You persuade the electorate TO VOTE FOR YOU with things like speeches, ads, etc. instead of you know... killing and torturing all those who oppose you.

Just an utterly stupid debate even for that jackass.

This is also coming from the "free speech" crowd too. So you should always be able speak whatever words you want at any time.... unless those words are repeatable, and intended to persuade an audience.... then you will be labeled as a dangerous communist dictator, and a threat to freedom.

@AroundTheWorld @Space Ghost why are you two guys so against the first amendment???

Nah if I get canceled by repeating Carlin's routine word for word, then there is some element of thought police out there. It isn't by the government, which doesn't make it "authoritarian", but rather by vocal groups lurking in the bowels of the internet with group think authoritarian tendencies.

It's the right's tactic to portray the threat of those groups assuming or maintaining power, but it doesn't delegitimize the argument of a practice we've seen time after time, even if cancel culture and word twisting happens on both sides.

For me, it means we've stopped being idealistic to liberal values.

People can be against cancel culture or whatever people want to call it. But I'm against using word framing to say that trying to hit people that use certain language in their pocket books through consumer action is authoritarianism.

Ya right wing Germans in 1920 tried to find unique ways to claim that Aryan livelyhood is being threatened.

As always the left is always concerned about real issues like rapid rate of rent increase while the right since it's a ideology that wants to maintain hierarchy will always try to deflect from issues like economic issues that might place blame at the top of the hierarchy.

This is always a left vs right dynamic during a era where economic systems are slowly collapsing around us. The right will blame the most vulnerable groups at the bottom for the economic issues and the left will blame the owners of capital for the social collapse issues.

While white middle managers in America have to suffer from the hardships of diversity power point presentations, Black people have to pray the gas station they drop at in their road trip isn't at a place where the local sheriff was gleefully talking about lynching "ni**ers"

And that is why the power dynamic of b****ing is important. The people b****ing about being mistreated who claim it's power structures like law enforcement are much more credible than wealthy suburban white people b****ing about academic text using the term "birthing person".

What buzzwords are you even referring to? Buzzwords is propaganda. Advertising is propaganda. It shouldn't be used anytime someone is trying to have open dialogue. This is largely why politics is a complete **** show. MAGA and BBB are great examples.

I have noticed your style of language exhibits quite a bit of anger. It seems you have experience a lot of unsettled injustice in your life. In anger and hurt, we tend to ignore what the other person is trying to communicate. No where did I state a persons belief or thought should be suppressed and/or eradicated so I am at a bit of a loss about the free speech comment. I specifically stated when a person or group tries to shame another into a particular belief structure, I find that authoritarian. Western religion has a serious problem with this. Neo liberalism has this problem. I have a respect for classical liberalism. This new structure is very bizarre and I feel like it has left many people stranded with no political identity so they are forced into this corrupt political environment of ultra left and ultra right....much like Europe of the 1930's.

I really dont understand why you are insinuating I am ultra right winged. I really dont know what Qanon stands for but if its closer to classical liberalism, then yes, that would be me. However from what I know of QAnon, i suspect you are lashing out at me because I am not in lock-step with your belief structure and that I am indeed the worst version of your enemy. I promise you I am not trying to change your mind or use persuasive propaganda on you to be something your not. I just hope you can find some peace and joy and maybe see the entire world is not entirely the complete political **** show in which you routinely express here.
