Another counterpoint…..was the success due to his assistant coach who is now running the team in an identical manner. He was the brains running the show while this guy was out hitting on all the organization’s babes.

Coaches have to be assholes sometimes of course, no issue with that. Most the other coaches and all the ones I'm rooting for can be assholes (especially Nurse apparently). No issue with that.

He shouldn't have to handle KPJ. KPJ should be gone before a new coach arrives.

I'm pretty sure Ime would be good for Green, Jabari, Alpi, Tari, and that's all that matters.

Do you know if Greg Popovich ever said anything about what happened?

Imagine feeling this type of way towards everyone who has ever cheated, might as well cancel the NBA because it will be hard to find anyone innocent. Y’all living in lala land, he didn’t commit a crime.

Also whatever happened to equality of the sexes? It was consensual and she was married too. Acting like it was all him and framing it like he was some predator is disgusting and unfair, for all we know he got seduced by a succubus.

but the point is that Udoka has really limited experience as a head coach, he has 1 season coaching an experienced team stacked with talent. It might just end up being a Silas situation again when he is tasked with handling players whos 19,20,21.

Udoka is a confrontational coach. He will gladly trash his players if they aren’t trying. He is no flower child like Silas. I expect KPJ and Udoka to butt heads until KPJ folds and adjusts to what Udoka wants or KPJ will go elsewhere

I think that's good that he's not a flower child. However long term and short term this team needs a coach who can coach basketball habits and structure.

I feel like coaches like Nurse, Atkins and Vogel has proven HC experience dealing with several iterations of an NBA team, good or bad. Udoka on the other hand sticks out to me as someone who is still more of an unknown. How do we know he's not just Luke Walton coaching the Warriors, any coach can look good with a stacked team, I mean Joe Mazzulla did not miss a beat after Udoka left.

the overanalyzing is just getting over the top at this point…now Ime is incapable of maintaining any sort of relationship because he just so happened to cheat

    I mean, c’mon

there are plenty of leaders, relationship builders, or whatever u want to call it that have cheated or are currently cheating

No one cares that he cheated. That has happened for millenia. The problem is he was cheating with someone he held power over, which is considerably more concerning and if you can't see why that is a big deal or why that may be an issue in creating functional work environments then I don't know what to say.

You really trying to turn this into some power thing which it isnt. Did the woman come out and say she was forced? No it was consensual cheating

    Oh really? Then explain this

A person who is more willing than everyone else to lie to protect themselves, that's who they are. A person who chooses pleasure even though it risks the entire organization and team, that's who they are. It's their principle about relationships, and it was formed when they were much younger and they never addressed it. If his relationship was bad (Ime and Nia), he could have left but he might have convinced himself he did it for the kid rather than for himself >> that's deflecting blame. A blame deflector is always a blame deflector.

he cheated with someone consensually…it takes 2 to cheat

please stop acting like he forced her to sleep with him or else he’d fire her, not promote her, etc

lol you guys are so focused on the "CHEATING" part not realizing that when bosses sleep with their employees it is an inherent power/control dynamic even if it's "consensual".

again, it is not about the act itself but the environment this act was performed in. no one gives a **** Udoka likes to get his dick wet but do that outside the organization.
