Yes these leaks might end up helping Ukraine and its supporters by making the argument for more aid and faster.

So do you still support not giving them the aid they need while they face a much larger and stronger army?

What does the Putin party want to do?

At least you answered. Unsurprisingly just more simple solutions to complex problems.

How confident are you that by making peace, Russia won’t attack again? Or somewhere else? How do you think China would view this result when it is trying to take over its neighbor?

The money to Ukraine has some of the best ROI you could ask for.

As tragic as it is for Ukrainian people, the longer the war goes on, the better for the US.

Here is the first open war monger. No longer is it the sooner Russia leaves Ukraine, the better. The new narrative is 'the longer the war goes on, the better. Who cares if Ukrainians are dying.'

larvs8 generally represents the hard left narrative.

    Incorrect.

If I had unilateral choice, I would choose life, and I would choose that the incursion never occurred.

I am simply pushing back on the "bad money" concept. It is laughably wrong.

No, that is not true at all.

So you would suggest we spend zero dollars on defense?

It's not our choice whether Ukraine chooses peace or not. It is our choice whether to support Ukraine in defending themselves against an aggressor. It is beneficial for us to do so, so we should continue.

Spending defense dollars is necessary to enable commerce in some instances, but it is not profitable in and of itself.

Cost outweighs benefit in this instance.

886 billion to "enable commerce in some instances"?

I agree that is quite excessive.

Who cares if Ukrainians are dying?

Well I can tell you that Russia doesn't care..... as they are the invader actively attempting to murder Ukrainians and take control of their country.

Again, it is really easy for this to end; Russian soldiers just need to withdraw from Ukraine.

As far as Ukrainians dying, they appear more than willing to risk their lives to save their country - it is funny, but a lot of people don't want to be enslaved by other nations.... it just works that way.
