Good thing is that the Texans are only projected to win 5.5 games. Toed for worst in the league and there are 3 really good QB's, possibly 4 in next years draft.

Just because it’s not thrown around doesn’t mean it’s accurate. Burrow draft.. Mahomes draft.. all had great qbs but it wasn't called generational during the time. Those guys have to play.. just because next year’s class projects to be anything doesn’t mean it will come true.

It’s easy to say no holes when they haven’t had to go under the scrutiny of draft season..

but just a quick glance at some random QBs final season and Mayes last season:
    Maye - 66.2 %, 4321 yds, 38 td, 7 int, 157.9 rtg
    Plyr A- 68%, 3748 yds, 30 td, 6 int, 157.9 rtg
    Plyr B- 69%, 4361 yds, 42 td, 7 int, 199 rtg.

    A is Mitch Trubisky
B is, wait for it, Kyler Murray

again, they both got drafted high, so Maye probably will too. Maye still has another year and it will probably be better, but to just say “he has NO HOLES” is so absolutist, disingenuous, and just shows ppl will say whatever to further their narrative.

No holes. I’m sorry you’re finding any way to denigrate a superior prospect, but it doesn’t mean you’re right. That’s not even mentioning the absolute lack of Oline and receiver talent.
    Don’t compare Maye to Trubisky.
I see you left Williams alone, or should we compare him to Kenny Pickett?

Real easy to compare basic numbers, and conveniently leave our 700 rushing yds and 7 TDs.

    PFF doesn’t agree with you.

Edit* Maye was a first year starter as a redshirt freshman as well.

Exactly! Most of the “generational” QBs weren’t considered generational coming out.

And that's what shocks me, why he would put out a Mock Draft that Ludicrous! Think about it?

If you need a franchise QB, which the Texans do, why would you wait until the 12th pick and pick the 4th best QB on most Draft boards? Why not get a better rated QB with your #2 pick? After all, a QB is more important than a pass rusher, correct?

I don't think anyone has Levis as a Day 1 Starter. Like I said, I respect Lance but I think he did it as a CLICK BATE

Because of the reports about the S2 scores. There’s also reports that all teams don’t have Bryce, CJ, Levis & AR ranked in that respective order. Texans said they have 2 QBs ranked at the top but never said which two. Lance didn’t say this is what he’d do but maybe something Caserio would do. I mean, he drafted Stingley over a rookie all pro and drafted an OG 15th overall that most teams didn’t see as a first rounder. Also stated he doesn’t have inside info but asks around to see who the Texans ask about the most. That’s how he nailed the two picks last year.

Well, you are 100% right about that! I wanted Sauce and Jordan Davis last yr. I've said it before, I'm not a Caserio fan. But if they have two QBs rated high, take the QB with the #2 pick

Rattler didn’t do what Maye and Williams did

I realize he's a former QB, but dude has Will Anderson as his fifth rated Edge. He's had some very questionable takes in the last few years.

Not knocking the video. More of the statement of "this dude knows his stuff."

Sims has been the absolute worst at rating qb’s for years.

The top comment on that video says he was right about Mahomes, Allen, Lamar. He compared stroud to burrow.

While I don't disagree, he is a former QB. If he would know any position that would seem to be it.

Josh McCown, the Panthers QB Coach felt very similar about Stroud as well.

Stroud seems to be the reason the Panthers traded up and it looks like BY overtook him in the Interview process.
