    Exactly, which I think it was reported they turned down multiple picks from others who tried to nab him after BK/Suns made the trade

    Only way they entertain it is if Bridges demands out this offseason, which is highly unlikely, TBD

    If he had his 2018 explosion, he’d be a top 3 player rather than a top 10-15 player. There’s no universe where the Rockets add a top 3 player for nothing but cap space.

    Maybe, JUST MAYBE, they wanted to take a good look and see what he could do?

    Up to Brooklyn $20.1M (22/23), $21.7M (23/24), $23.3M (24/25), $24.9M (25/26)

    Prime contract also jacks up the price

    If you put it in perspective.....Jaylen Brown might be a one year rental

    Yeah, Bridges doesn't have leverage to force a trade right now even if he wanted out. Brooklyn is as good of a place as any to build up his value anyway, and probably better than most. Thinking we can get Bridges, Brown is wishful thinking. Some of y'all need to set your sets a little more realistically. Andrew Wiggins, maybe?

    4 firsts from memphis is kinda a shitty deal. they finished near the best record in the west and are a young team.

    we have a pretty interesting position with the nets in that we directly control their future for the next 6 years. no other team can compete with us in terms of the flexibility we can give brooklyn.

    Because they can’t tank without their picks. If their owner thinks they are going to make it back into contention with a bunch of Phoenix picks and no cap space, he is an idiot. Of course, that’s quite possible.

    You are right, but I would give them all their picks back plus any of our players not named Sengun, Green, or Jabari. This would allow them to tank which is their only path to relevancy

    also, Dinwiddie, Harris, Royce, and Claxton are all free agents after next year…that’s 60 mil off the books

    Bum Simmons is a free agent the year after…that’s another 40 mil off the books

    nobody here can give a legitimate answer for why they should or would want to trade Bridges
