Split…. Interesting. If this is the case I think eventually the all will lean towards the qb in the end. I originally thought Cj had no supporters at all.. I think that is more surprising to me then anything. But if they pick up Mac Jones… I rather them just go with Mills for another year
This is the stupidest bs I've seen with a sports franchise since Jack Easterby and Bill Obrien were sitting in the same room on Kirby jacking each other the F off. Split on Stroud and Anderson at 2 but really wanting Byrce Young who is going number one when you could have had pick #1 if you had just lost the last game of the season. Seriously this is F'n incompetent and ridiculous. I don't know man... whatever the hell they do they do but make a decision and stop with all the bs.
The Texans should just trade back and pick up as many future 1st rounders as possible and draft your top rated defensive player. Then turn around and trade for Trey Lance for a couple of 3rd rounders. Trey Lance already has 2 years in the offense and will be ready to go. hat way you can totally rebuild the Texans.
Um, I feel like his release, anticipation, defense reading and able to extend off schedule are all things everyone says he is great at.. which would be counter to your “holds ball too long and can’t escape”.. those are things he does well actually. It’s throwing it 80 yards that he can’t do like Mahomes…
Look at bruglers the beast I pasted a while back. Every weakness section for young I saw is that he holds the ball too long. It won’t matter because I don’t think he’s going to last long in the nfl
I like Brugler's draft profiles. He's got the stat wrong here. Kiper speaks to his quick release in his profile. During the 2022 season, QB time to throw for Young was on average 2.54 and 2.31 in 2021. For comparison, Burrow in 2019 with LSU was 2.51. But yes, fumbles can be a real problem.
There's an error in his statistics here. Kiper mentions the QB's quick release in his profile. On average, Young's time to throw in the 2022 season was 2.54 seconds, and in 2021 it was 2.31 seconds. To put it in perspective, Burrow's time to throw in 2019 with LSU was 2.51 seconds. However, it's true that fumbles can present a significant issue.
