Y’all gotta face reality with how this thing works. Not all of Jalen, Jabari, Sengun, KPJ, Tari, and KJ gonna be around for the long haul. At least half of them will be gone, so you player only fans need to get over it. Look at the 76ers, Joel Embiid is the only one left from the process

No they aren't. But I don't know why that means we have to trade Green for Brown or Sengun for Brown or even Jabari for Brown.

You know what I would do if I absolutely despised Green or Sengun?

Let them have a third year here to increase their trade value and then wait to see what happens with Luka. Luka is an actual player worth trading the rebuild for. I'd trade Green, Sengun and Bari for Doncic if he's disgruntled and the Mavs don't want to lose him for nothing.

    Not freaking Jalen Brown.

Bc we’ve won 42 games combined the last 2 seasons and Jaylen Brown is an all nba player. He’d attract another guy. You’re sleeping on JB

If that is the extent of your logic to trade our core for Jaylen Brown then thank God you aren't a NBA GM.

Our core that’s arguably the worst team in the NBA? Also, I didn’t say to trade all of them, it would be one of Jalen or Sengun to go with a KJ/Tari. You’re talking like I’m saying trade Jalen, Sengun, Jabari, and Tari for him. You’re a Jalen only fan so it bothers you. I’m a rockets fan so I don’t a **** who we trade, I want them to compete again

No I'm a Rocket fan and have been since the 90s. So stfu you have absolutely trash takes and because I like Green and don't want to trade him for a player who finished developing who still is a worse playmaker than Green right now as a 21 year old who's criticism is having tunnel vision doesn't mean I don't care about the Rockets.

I don't want to end our rebuild and prematurely ejaculate for a mid team for the next decade. And no Jaylen Brown is not the level of player that attracts free agent superstars.

Also as a Rocket fan the special feeling of building a core of your own draft picks makes winning a lot more enjoyable.

Also, the value of Green, Sengun and Jabari has no attachment to our record for the past two seasons. No GM would think that way. They aren't going to expect the youngest team by a wide margin when adjusted for minutes played to win any meaningful games especially with a novice Nepotism coach.

Beal yes, I don't see Brown as being better than Lavine currently. Maybe slightly but they are in the same tier.

JB is about to make the all nba team and rightfully so. he's the 2nd best player on a true contender. A level Lavine has yet to reach and likely won't. they're not in the same tier

Would take too much , and you need depth for an older Harden. You need fast versatile def Dre’s to make up for Harden on the perimeter. Can’t give up both Tari and jabari. If we don’t get Wemby I’d give up whoever we draft plus the clippers pick plus Jabari, KJ, and KPJ . That’s two lottery selections, a solid players in KPJ, two FRP’s and KJ.

Statistically they are. Brown doesn't have good advanced numbers, he's really just a scorer and doesn't do much of anything else. I think his defense has been overrated this year too. But I understand that narratives can take over and people view him more highly because he's on a better team.

Brown does plenty. that's why hes about to be on the all nba team. hes on a better team because he makes them a better team.he's literally one of the main reasons. Now you're telling folks Lavine is the same. When he isn't because if he was then the Bulls would be a good team since Lavine is in the same tier as Brown. But in reality he isn't.

Penalizing Brown "because hes on a better team" makes no sense when he's literally next to Tatum as the reasons why Boston is one of the top contenders

That's the problem with folks just using counting stats and advanced numbers. especially without context. Lavine spends most of his time putting up empty numbers and failure to lead a team to wins. And Lavine has always been that way. He might put up "numbers" but his actual impact isn't conducive to winning at a high level.

The Mavs arch nemesis next to Miami are the Rockets and Spurs.

Luka would be rather traded to the new Las Vegas franchise than to another Texan team.

Brown can guard 1-4 at a high level. Not saying he’s way better, but there’s a lil gap. Also, brown delivered on the big stage last season, including a 40 point game in the ECF.

I know people said he was a stronger, slower, more defensive Jalen Green.

Browns defensive ability probably catapults him past Jalen Green if looking at things objectively. Could Jalen someday become a + defender? Of course! But Jaylen Brown has been one since he entered the NBA . You can count on him being a good defender AND a dynamite offensive threat. That alone could tip the scales in his favor. Dude is a baller for sure would not be the end of the world if we lose a couple of youngsters to add him to the mix. He could be a scoring champion himself with a spotlight role.

Agree wth everything you said, and more regarding Brown. I've always liked hiim, but now that he's broken out...at these levels, with us where we are....notta. In addition to everything else, his knees bother me. He goes to a contender out West, if anywhere.

With the incentive and risk of Jaylen Brown testing out the free agent market, Boston's asking price will be reduced from his value, imo.
