I'm thinking if they get 2 or 3 to maybe offer to Orlando for Paolo... Then sign Harden... Harden Green Banchero Smith Sengun Bench Porter Tate Eason Martin Christopher Garuba Not crazy about it but if Harden is the only true FA worth using cap space on drafting a PG at 2 seems like a waste... Not great defense in that lineup is my concern... perhaps a new coach works it out of them...
That only semi-realistic trade I'd be interested in is moving up if we land outside the top 3, especially if Amen Thompson and Jarace Walker are off the board when we pick. Maybe something like #5 + Clippers pick + Eason for #2 to get Scoot.
Don’t want Banchero. His game is predicated on a mid-range game, is not good defensively and we already have a superior big man passer in Sengun. We will pick Scoot if we have the 2nd pick and Orlando will not trade Banchero for Miller.
its usually very hard to trade up in the top 5. offering 4 quarters rarely equals a dollar in the nba. but maybe moving up from the clippers pick into the late lotto (or into a future draft) is possible.
I agree his efficiency is awful. You're buying playmaking and a hope he can develop as a shooter. His defense is suspect too. Probably better options out there with capital like 2nd or 3rd pick... Jaylen or LaMelo perhaps..
Yes, you're right, it's very unlikely to happen. Not impossible though, there are rare occasions when teams do trade back. I think the most likely outcome is that we take whoever the best player is that's available when we pick.
with our top 7 pick, I think so. but I could see the magic using their second lotto pick #12 to move back and pick up a useful rotation player. possibly the hawks at #15 too.
I'm not sure people realize this... but the other team has to agree to the trade. It's not like 2k where you can just trade with the a computer who isn't actively trying to make their team better like you. Paolo and Cade are not getting traded on their rookie contracts.
If we can't get Scoot or Wemby I would trade both our picks plus a protected future pick for Siakam, Nurse and 1-2 championship calibre role players (among OG/Poeltl/FVV). I would give Sengun, Green and Jabari one season to prove they can improve as two way players. What I'm envisioning is a 2003 Kings offense featuring Sengun and Siakam as Webber and Divac with Green playing like current De'Aron Fox. Nurse may not be the best coach for that though, he's very much like MDA on offense.
