I am not saying Philly is better, but they still have a chance. If Harden doesn't take this chance now, its never happening unless he goes ring chasing by taking a discount.

He also played 81 games at 27 years old that season, this season he is 33 and he has played 58, 65 in 21-22, body is breaking down, his defense isn't the best. You think him and Jalen are stopping the top guards in the league? Even if we got Harden, I'd hope its for a steep discount. Can you accept paying him 40 million per season and playing 50-60 games. Can you accept that our guard defense will be trash putting pressure on our interior defense constantly.

Don't get me wrong I love Harden, he has provided a lot of good memories in his time in Houston. For me though that time is passed, it is time to move on and find the next star.

For #2, this is where Stone earns his keep as a GM. Rockets should try to improve on multiple fronts.

Can he get Harden/FVV to accept a good deal (but not max); maybe even front load it. Can the deal be shorter: 3 years (instead of longer). Also the charm whereabouts to secure an extension with Brown.

The Wemby thing is only fit, since Wemby on his rookie deal is still cheap.

The difference between 53.9% and 56.2% TS % is basically the same difference between Russell Westbrook as a Rocket and Eric Gordon....you gonna tell me there isn't one of them you'd rather be shooting than the other?

I know you are by far the most delusional Jalen Green fan in the entire world, but suggesting that it would be crazy to trade your kid for Jaylen Brown is pretty hilarious. I mean, it's bad even for you.

Issue for more than a week were the initial click for "post reply" doesn't look like it's registering and then someone hits "post reply" twice. Happened to me multiple times.

I mean that's a horrible example as it's a comparison between a MVP and a guy who never made an all-star team.

And yes the difference between a 54% ts player and 56% ts player isn't the difference between a chucker and some efficiency savant especially when the 56% ts player was taking 36% made fgs self created unlike with the 54% ts player who was at 60%.

So you're saying that there's essentially no difference in shot quality between Westbrook on the Rockets and Eric Gordon? LOL

Wow, you are SOOO committed to this shtick, it's adorable. You'll say literally any insane thing if you think it helps your guy out.

That's why I correctly pointed out that to you, the Jalen Green player comp is somewhere between MJ and God....maybe a bit better than that.

I honestly didn't know you were that high on Brown where someone saying at 21 year old Green is better than 21 year old Brown means that player is the next MJ.

    Interesting.

And why even bring up Westbrook and Gordon lol? The one year they played together in Houston, Westbrook was 3rd on the team in wins share and EG was 14th. Like are you purposefully shooting yourself in the foot?

If any of Bill Simmons' Rockets insider takes are real, no wonder the organization was "meh" about our young dudes' player development. Who knows who might wind up on the block.

I think Brown and Harden are buds, so there's that; but I've learned to keep an even keel about these things. Or tried to.

Are you doing the dishonest shtick where you pretend to have embarrassingly poor reading comprehension or do you actually struggle that much with it?

We both know that you're the only person in the world delusional enough to think that your boy Green is comparable with MJ....so when I say that I'd trade Green for Brown, or that Brown is better than Green, I'm not saying he's the next MJ. I'm just saying he's better than Green which means significantly less than that. Green wasn't even one of the best players on a terrible Rockets team this season.

Whom do you think the Celtics would rather have - KPJ or Green or Sengun?

No you are saying Brown is the next MJ or better than him because the only reason you said I believe Green is the next MJ is because I had the audacity to believe that Second year Green is a more talented player than second year Brown.

We can only hope their thirst for Sengun is on par with yours.

no to FVV, that would be terrible

yes to Brown, especially if we get Wemby and are able to sign Harden…pack up Sengun and see if u can get the trade done

you’d have your All-Star caliber vets in Harden and Brown, and your young players recently drafted in Green, Bari, and Wemby who can develop while also getting a taste of winning…Stone would then need to add shooters and floor spacers to the roster…we could be hosting game 1 of a playoff series as soon as next year with these moves

Shouldn't they want KPJ most? You told us he is our best player, no? Wouldn't they be clueless if they don't want KPJ?

I wouldn't want to trade Sengun or Green for Brown honestly. Both of them project to be better than Brown. Brown's third year advanced stats are basically the same or worse than Jalen Green's (VORP, BPM). Sengun's obviously much better than Brown was at his age.

I like Brown and would consider trading a few of the BK picks and maybe like Eason or someone for him, but only if we get another key free agent like a Harden and would be ready to compete in the next 1-2 years. Trading our young players/assets for Brown right now without any other moves would be a shortsighted move, IMO.

Oh, so you legitimately have embarrassingly poor reading comprehension. Fair enough.

You really should try to work on that killer.

I think any even halfway intelligent person with the most mediocre of reading comprehension skills would realize that the reason I said that you believe Jalen Green is the next MJ is because you are a delusional superfan who believes that. It has nothing to do with any other player.

Maybe go back and re-read what I said a few more times and see if you can figure it out.

    Good luck!
