    Not saying Sengun is in the same universe with Hakeem, but I’ve seen him use the same combination of footwork many times. Sengun’s offensive potential is off the charts.

    I wonder how much assets u can get trading the number 1 pick, the asset haul must b truly record breaking, not that any gm would b dumb enough to lose their job over doing something so stupid

    It's been a rough few years.

    Apologies if this has been discussed ad nauseam already, but what is our game plan next draft lottery? Due to one of the worst trades in NBA history, next year we have to donate our Top 4 protected pick to OKC.

    HOU management seems like they're done tanking, but is that really a great idea if we finish like 7th worst record in the league then give up a great pick? Likewise, mailing it in for a FOURTH straight season is a bit depressing, and not even guaranteed to keep our pick anyway. I guess the silver lining is that even if we finish like 7-9th, we still have a ~30% chance of landing in the Top 4 anyway, compared to about ~50% chance if we're one of the worst teams in the league again. So not a drastic difference either way.

    With that said, I would rather the ROX go "all-in" and at least be a legit Top 6 playoff team in a relatively weak Western Conference (sign Harden and another top tier FA). Or just continue tanking for 1 more season and be a bottom ~5 team and try to keep our pick. I don't want to be this year's Dallas Mavs and only have a 10-15% chance of being in the Top 4, miss the playoffs, and lose our pick anyway. It's a tough spot to be in so I'm curious which direction Rafael decides to go.

    Doesn't have Hakeem's 7'6" wingspan, that's for sure. Definitely been taking lessons from him in the post though!
