    Raptors regression after Kawhi left is concerning. I know that Nurse is home grown but he is not a home run choice for the next coach of the Rockets.

    I don't know how much of that you can blame on Nurse. The fact is the Raptors team is not that talented. Siakam is their number one option. That isn't going to cut it. Their roster is full of guys who can't shoot also.

    You could honestly make a case that the Rockets have a more talented roster it's just they are significantly less experienced than guys like Siakam and FVF.

    I'm not that high on Siakam either. With all of their length I would expect better defense though. I just don't see what makes Nurse special as an HC. I want special. He is an upgrade over Silas of course but I don't want to settle. At least Vogel has a strong defensive mind. He gets no love but I think he is a better tactician than Nurse.

    I honestly think if we had Nurse the last two years where Green, Sengun and Jabari experiences a competent training and coaching staff, we'd be looking at 30 wins or so this year and people praising us like the Magic.

    Which one of all these head coaching candidates is the likeliest to be creative and come up with an Adelman Kings' system or a similar system to what the Denver Nuggets or the Kings play today?

    I am struggling to see any of these available candidates as a definite home run so far.

    Am kind of leaning towards Udoka.

    Sam Cassell.

    Man is a leader, exudes confidence, knows what it takes to win rings.

    He also knows how to feed a big man, and knows how to make two pg's work. Understands spacing, understands people.

    Would be a great fit who could help these guys and get them to buy into a larger vision.

    I was trawling the Raptors' subreddit expecting them to be calling for Nurse's head after that choke job, but mostly people seem to be saying their front office will regret if they get rid of him and the roster is to blame. Not sure if that's just lingering good vibes about him from the championship run, but it's interesting. I wasn't really into the idea of bringing him in but I guess I wouldn't hate it.

    The reality is Nurse isn't as good of a coach that some you want to make yourself believe he is. The gimmick excuses im reading for the raptors choking at home are pretty hilarious
