I'm not going to take reading comprehension tips from someone who does not know the difference between an editorial and a news story. Your obsession with punching down on people who are simply different than you is really gross and I hope you grow enough as a person to overcome it one day. In the meantime have fun wallowing in the mud with @tinman .
You are actually the one punching down on people with down syndrome here. I am not punching down on anyone with cognitive impairment, or anyone else. Other than you, maybe, but you asked for it. You are not even addressing what I said about the questionable consent, just acting outraged.
Apparently Real Women don't like this term 'Cis Women' @Os Trigonum @AroundTheWorld This actually sounds like calling a woman having some skin problem
Was I sexually abused when I was 8 and tried on my mom's lipstick? It's so funny that the mere wearing of clothes of the opposite sex is so hyper sexually stimulating to you. Like I see nothing sexual in that video. Why even go there?
I assure you that you are wrong. I assure you that the funny-looking person on the right is not a harm to anyone. I also assure you that gun culture kills kids in school. Gun culture is sick.
I don't really see any humor here. "I think this person is attractive, I think this person is not". Looks like some terrible boomer humor Facebook meme
If the joke is that the creator of the meme didn't realize BW was trans, that's fine, but it isn't implied in the post. It's obscured even further by the fact the BW fan page posted it without attribution. Dumb **** like this gets circulated on social media all the time unironically.
This goes to a point that I’ve brought up several times that no matter what you think of trans people they numerically are a very very small portion of the population. While there many be a fair amount of younger people who believe or identify with things like “gender fluidity” the amount of people that actually transition is very small. I’ve posted a study before that shows that only 0.6% of the US population actually does identify as transgendered. You’ve stated that you believe that trans women have an entitlement. Again based on those numbers that might only be 0.4% of the population is actually trans women. From just the reaction we see in this thread they might be the most despised group in America with them frequently being referred to and treated as “freaks”. I’m not sure what sort of entitlement that they can have when so many openly despise them.
They make up more than .6% of the population based on more recent polling, and are even higher among those under 30. I am not sure why it matters if they have sexual reassignment surgery. I have no issues with adults deciding to have surgery. Transgendered people don’t have to transition. Let’s assume for the sake of argument it is 1% of the population. That means that 1% of the population is demanding that we change the very definition of sex and gender that have existed for thousands of years. If that it’s entitlement, then I don’t know what is. In furtherance, the entitlement is about people that grew up in a patriarchy as males, that then attempt to transition to being women and take that same entitlement to how they treat women. Also I have never said I agree with the vitriol or a lot of people, I have said the opposite. There is a LOT of misinformation on both sides of the issue.
