Dusty appears to have a strong preference towards people he sees as plus defensively. I'm not sure getting someone fast on the roster instead of Diaz would have the results you desire. If you want Diaz to play or another young bat, the Astros need a modern day Chris Carter on the bench. Is Tyler White available?
Astros can lose today and over the course of April and May But let's see what happens overall #juggernautsentiment Enjoy H-town's version of the Brady Patriots, Jordan Bulls, and Jeter Yanks
Abreu seems overmatched thus far Late on fastballs and terrible swings His recent track record early-season has been Bregman-esque. then ball We'll see the overall outcome
Hopefully he figures it out. We have him for 2 more years. I pray it's rust and not due to aging. But Spring training and few weeks into the season, would you still have rust??
Early results say he's overpaid and likely a bad signing Sox fans said he got "old" over the course of last season and his stats reflect the notion Maybe wrong. Maybe right. Time will tell everything
He has never been a good or average hitter in MLB His problem in Houston is he's been EXTRA suck at the plate If he performs his career production pre-Houston, he's a good signing
Lots of media people thought it was a year too long. Also not sure if it's true but I think someone on here said, 1st half, good but 2nd half, pitchers adjusted and he wasn't as good last season. What also sucks is, he's not the greatest defender right? so we can't even say, well if he's not hitting well, at least we have his glove. Just win a World Series in 1 of his 3 years and it'll be worth it, whether if he's a contributer or a passenger(well, he just needs to make at least 1 key play like Mancini).
