But, again, the difference between the 5th and 7th best prospect in this draft class is negligible. The Rockets' rebuild will not be made or broken solely on them getting the 6th or 7th pick here instead of the 5th.

By your logic, why win any games this year? Why not just go 0-82 and guarantee the worst record? At some point, these kids need to learn to play together, gel on the court and, yes, even win some basketball games. I'm all for rebuilding through the draft and wanting to get the best chances at a top pick, but the Rockets were plenty awful enough by themselves to guarantee their best chance at a top 4 pick without having to sit guys unnecessarily. And these wins did nothing to jeopardize those odds.

No, chief, they couldn't. Detroit was 5 games worse than Houston was, and they were 1-9 in their last 10. Houston was 4-6. So even if the Rockets had sat their starters the last 10 games of the season and gone 0-10, they still would have finished with a better record than the Pistons. The Rockets would have had to lose something like their last 13-14 games to be worse than Detroit, which is no easy task, especially when you're facing other teams trying to tank down the stretch as well.

Im watching highlights and at 7:55 left at the end of the 4th , im thinking .. We would be up by 15-20 if Jaesean Tate play. I hope they trade him or let him play next year.
