Well, we're all here to hope right? I mean at least we have ingredients for decent food.

Are you just trying to upset me? That was very clearly the greatest trade in Franchise history.

I don’t see how one can conclude it’s underwhelming when another 1st round pick is added to the haul. We may not like who we drafted, but cmon now.

It seem that Stone was good on this trade….From the 30th pick to the 17th pick in this year draft….things are turning around for this franchise

Clippers won…so do we own the 18th or 19th pick?

Looks like it’s #19 since they own the tiebreaker with GS.

    Yup. 11 spot jump.

As I’ve said, if it ends up in the top 20, I’m a happy man. Great overall value.

Not as good as I'd hoped, not as bad as I feared. There may still be a really good player available at 19. Not a lot of clarity in this draft class from around #8 to #25 IMO.

It was mid 20s when we made the trade, so a really really nice result for us.

Not often you trade a player for a pick, only to see the pick significantly improve in value.

Clippers would have to be disappointed with the deal. Especially if they are a first round bump

    Here's the thing:

this pick doesn't matter regardless of where it ended up, barring some low probability event.

We still don't know where it's going to be other than it'll be either #18, #19, or #20. There is no tie-breaker other than a random drawing to determine draft order among tied teams.

We won the trade, that's all that matters. Now I pray for #1 or #2 in the draft and a competent HC. Maybe Harden comes back and a solid vet.

#18,#19, #20 pick? I guess we will have to wait until NBA do their coin flip to decide. Do anybody knows the coin flip date and time?

I don't know it for a fact, but my guess is, like last year, it will be immediately after the play-in games. The last play-in game this year is on April 14th, which is a Friday. If it happens like it did last year, then Monday, April 17th will be when they announce the tie-breaker results, but that's just a guess.

**** LeBron. He choose to go to LA knowing their front office was bad and their ownership had limits with spending.
He even used his agency to force Anthony Davis (a young superstar) to LA.
Any excuses are just that. Absolute all time great, in the top 3-5 players ever but he made his bed.

18-20 all have identical records at 44-38

The Warriors, Clippers, and the Heat have the same record, so that tie would need to be broken by the random drawing

Technically, from looking at it, it looks like this is actually what will/could happen :

Since the Heat are a play-in team:

    a) if the Heat lose two play-in games, the flip will be between the Clippers and the Warriors for the #19 and #20 positions because the Heat would then become a lottery team.

    b) If the Heat win one play-in game, they'll make the playoffs, so the flip will be a 3-way among them, the Clippers, and Warriors for #18, #19, and #20.
