Noticed during Rockets game today no mention whatsoever of Easter. Just curious if that was a directive of this league as I watched multiple telecasts on league pass. Interesting how Thanksgiving games get pictures of Turkeys and mentioning throughout. Sad that politics creeps more and more into sports.
Getting mad about a sport cast not celebrating a holiday with shitty digital animation themes and pictures sounds like politics to me Spend your day how you’d like, why worry about others
Oh yes, not catering specifically to the personal whims and preferences of one group means that group is "under attack". Sounds like snowflake behavior to me.
These holy-days are all suspect for most part, from the origin of Thanksgiving to the Christ-mass story to the Easter bunny, which no bunnies actually lay eggs The commerce driven media is just more bias to those days that bring in $$ which is shopping/eating ie. Christmas/Turkey day, so they get the most publicity
They said happy Easter during the broadcast, you can’t expect the league to cater to one specific religion over others. Get over it dude.
The Capital One arena staff were spouting Happy Easter. Not sure anyone was expecting Jalen Green to do it besides you, but different folks different strokes.
Thanks for the support Tfor3…..people on this same board sure took up for Morey with the Taiwan situation and were against the same league who wanted him fired. This league also stood up BIG TIME for BLM and I couldn’t watch a game without the promotion of BLM. Now they have LGBTQ day and celebrate that supposed holiday with constant mentioning and graffiti at Toyota Center. Now I bring up the total ignoring of a major holiday in Easter and am treated with disrespect….go figure and shows the sad state this country and league are currently in.
Easter rules because you get a 4 day weekend. The chocolate eggs and the fairy tale about a dude who turns into a zombie are inconsequential
