They are what 19 months or so, a year and a half? Right now KPJ is 22, Green is 21......even at 19 months you still have more than 10 years each if you have to choose. DD
Right, ok 21 months apart, and still with about the same career left, both over 10 years to go...... DD
You're being intentionally obtuse, DD. A ton of basketball development happens between ages 19-22. Some development happens after that, but it's typically a lot slower. Jalen Green would probably be playing college ball right now if this was the 90s. Most of the greatest shooting guards of all time started their rookie seasons when they were older than Green is now. KPJ is over that "college years" threshold. It's possible he'll improve, but there's a lot less room for improvement at this stage in his career, with twice as many NBA seasons and nearly 2 more years of physical development under his belt.
However, sources close to Green pushed for more structure and play-calling, believing that the freelance system and a lack of a true floor general weren’t conducive to the rookie’s development. Repeat after me: KPJ sucks at pg.
It's not that they are casuals, it's that their cognitive bias blinds them and makes them seem like morons. I'm not sure there's anything that can help them.
And that's how it ends ladies and gentlemen. Ast/TOV 22/23 entire season Harden................3.17 Brunson...............2.96 Jevon Carter........2.53 De'Aaron Fox........2.47 Ja Morant..............2.39 D'Angelo Russell...2.35 Divencenzo............2.22 KPj.......................1.80 Ast/TOV (Post All Star) Jevon Carter............3.20 Harden......................3.11 De'Aaron Fox.............2.90 Brunson.....................2.54 D'Angelo Russell.......2.53 KPj............................2.51 Ja Morant...................2.44 Divencenzo.................2.13 Lillard..........................2.07 So small sample size but KPj improved post All Star I listed Jevon Carter because many are eyeing him as a free agent target (RFA) Harden possibly coming back to Houston: 21.0 pts/ 6.1 rebs/ 10.7 Ast/ 38.5 (3P%)/ 25.1 USG%/ 43.5 Ast% __________________ I would welcome Harden back to a "no income state tax" situation and a descending contract. Love the 3-guard attack possibilities to start the game with KPj subbed out after 5 minutes and then backing up Harden/Green at the 1&2 spot platoon. Best of both worlds where KPj starts while also being the back up at PG/SG. People concerned with Harden Achilles can play 24 minutes a game to lessen his load. Welcome to the NBA where everyone is expected to be a point- Guard, Forward or Center https://www.nba.com/stats/players/advanced?PerMode=Totals&PlayerPosition=G&dir=D&sort=AST_RATIO
Here's the thing: I don't wanna here a thing about KPJ being a problem anymore. The kid is treated very unfairly. Last year we had the revered media contributor Draymont Green almost kill Jordan Poole. Then today the very Saint Gobert goes after SloMo Anderson during timeout... These are supposedly the face of the NBA, elder statesmen, All-Stars, DPOYs and what nots. But sure, let's rehash the alleged soup incident from 4 years ago when KPJ was a teenager...
Someone universally mocked for their bad takes on basketball shouldn't aspire to teach anyone about the game.
Walking off the court and fighting coaches while being prone to violent outbursts. Stop it already. Get him out.
The timing of everything is sus. I am not understanding why an organization is so bad at public relations.
I can’t wait for the day we find out if KPJ is the starting point guard or not next season Going to be some fun few days on here. Can’t wait
If the Rockets draft Wemby I'm pretty sure the league itself will demand the Rockets not have KPJ as pg.
Adam is going to gift wrap us Wemby because we are the biggest losing market compared to SA and Detroit KPJ, Green, Jabari, and Sengun make this team ready to explode with a quality coach and a couple vets Stone knows he put KPJ on some bullshit and I think he lets his project have one more year with the organization mindset on winning before he throws him away
let me save you the trouble. Any top tier coach like Udoka, Volgel or Nurse will not have KPJ as the starting PG. KPJ is an obvious Stone pet project so unless we get a coach who is another Silas puppet KPJ’s PG role is over
