@Kim you study the courts and I'm sure you can agree this sort of talk is crazy. I hate when progressives act like dictators. Being a fascist is being a fascist. There's no good anti trump factist or pro trump facist that's good for society. We have rule of law in this country and we have checks and balances. It's sad seeing progressives everywhere claim the executive can just ignore court order.
at this point, if Dems don’t sweep up in 2024, it will be a PHX vs Mavs last year level choke I also need some help with this one. How does one TX judge have that much power to affect something nationwide?
I will admit I don’t know what the legal basis would be for ignoring this ruling. It does seem like there isn’t one. I agree allowing the executive to ignore the judicial branch seems like a very bad idea that would threaten our system of checks and balances. The process with this ruling seems like it should be like everything else. Appeal it and work on changing the laws through the legislatures.
There are a few "Trump" judges that are quite insane, but my belief is that they would have been judges anyways under any conservative president. And national injunctions by lower courts is an issue that is dividing Scotus, and not by partisan lines. Many justices came up through the DC circuit, so they're generally "when a law is bad, any judge should be able to stop it for the whole country if necessary (or overturn it and stay/pause the decision) while it works its way through the courts." Other justices who didn't come up through DC (conservative and liberal) are like, "one judge stopping the law for the whole country is pretty messed up because it can get abused. Keep the decision small." It's already a crazy can of worms that have been opened regarding the weaponization of the judiciary and court shopping. That stated, I tend to agree that ignoring the courts completely would open up another can of worms.
Basso I know that reading comprehension isn't your best trait but you should try to do it more. Workforce participation rate WENT up last month and is literally higher than it was pre pandemic. What the hell are you trying to prove ? Unemployment rate went down and workforce participation is up? Yes people are switching industries and jobs. Don't you right wing boomers want this? More people leaving tech and working in construction and other professional jobs. Right wingers are so weird
One seems a little less petty and more coherent than the other...but damn as an moderate I don't know which. Couldn't be the guy that won the Presidency in his basement though...
Yes that's his entire message. America sucks and is a **** hole nd only I can fix it. The only people this works on are your brainwashed @Commodore
Genuinely asking you this. Have you ever watched a full biden interview? No edits on your own. Have you? He gave a press briefing with Canadian PM the other week that was over 40 minutes and gave alot of answers https://www.youtube.com/live/Kkqe5UY3I40?feature=share
Lol, he can read. Why does he say "emphasis on" and "inflection point" mid sentence? His handlers have been a foreign policy disaster since day 1. I give his speech writers a B. When he goes off script, it gets weird.
What are you talking about? His entire q & a wasn't scripted. They asked him tough questions about China and he answered them well. They asked him questions about tiktok and Russia and Ukraine. It was no softball questions https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...-trudeau-of-canada-in-joint-press-conference/ Why do you people have to make **** up? He gave complex answers. How has his foreign policy been a disaster? You never have anything substantial to debate with cuz you get your stuff from twitter. Simple question. Is bidens China's policy tougher or softer than trumps?
You'd get better answers from Stormy Daniels after screwing Ron Jeremy after Donald Trump with a signed NDA.
He's not talking about Trump dude...try to stay on topic if you're capable. Between Facebook and Fox News I know it's hard for you to understand outside that bubble but at least give it a shot.
I'm just curious how his foreign policy has been a "disaster." They always make this point but it's just conspiracies they get from twitter. It's impossible to say that bidens foreign policy to China is softer than trumps. They don't live in reality and can never prove their points
