Or Christian Vazquez who was ALREADY ON THE TEAM. I’m never going to get over that decision, only bc it was such a no brainer.
Or the season after they went 65-17 and were one win(and a CP3 hammy and Scott Foster rigged Game 7) from the Finals and a romp over the Cavs. The 2018-19 season, they looked awful and lifeless on the court early on. That was after they let Ariza walk and never replaced him and refused(momentarily) to pay Jeff Bzdelik to return as an assistant coach. They eventually got it together for the most part, but they clearly were not the same team as the year before.
I still get the feeling we will eventually be fine. They aren't going to go from hero to zero in one season. But damn this **** right now is as ugly as it gets.
Since April 2021 that we've been 3games under .500, according to Sparky. Totally trust him. Anyways... Get it together.
What the hell happened to that cap space after we let JV off the books and signed Abreau? Didn't we still have like 27 mil left until the tax hit? We didn't do ****.
