    Last season we started 7-9 with a -12 run differential

    Offense scored 5+ runs 3 of those 16 games

    Pitching allowed 5+ runs 7 of 16 games

    We've began slowly before

    Eta- Yordan with a laser (116mph, damn) into the RF stands (salami), tied 4-4

    There's hope

    Garcia is hot garbage right now but lol to everyone thinking this slow start “just feels different” and that this team won’t be contending for the WS again.

    I do think we’ll target a TOR arm at some point. Losing the absolute workhorse powerhouse that was JV last year will probably stretch the entire staff too much. I think a lot of folks underestimated how much we’d miss him.
