3-5 is what it is 8 games out of 162. So of course we shouldn’t be panicking. but we are playing poorly, there is no arguing that.
Just got back from the game and it was exciting but disappointing. Stanek looked like he didn’t want to be there and considering it felt at least 10 degrees colder in the shade than in the sun I’m guessing he didn’t want to be there. Good news is temps are supposed to be in the 60’s tomorrow and Sunday.

Indeed. In the game that everybody’s whipping boy was the offense while the lineup proceeded to K 15 times… all the complaints are about Maldy, Stanek, and Dusty. At least the bbs stays consistent in April!
This is why I spent the entire off-season pissed. Was told I didn’t know what I was talking about by plenty. Maldy and Brantley were just really bad decisions. Why they didn’t give Contreras the puddly little 85M is beyond me. That should have been an easy call. But can’t disrupt what we have with St Maldy the pitcher whisperer. He’s the only man who can call a game! Never mind his offensive numbers are about the worst in baseball, his framing numbers are a steaming pile of ****, his defensive numbers aren’t great and there’s nothing to point to his game calling showing any benefit to the Astros on the score board. If Altuve were healthy and/or Bregman and Peña weren’t Terribsd I suspect we’d notice a lot less but having Dubon and Maldy in the lineup more or less every day really shrinks your margin of error to pretty unacceptable margins.
Man, this table needs a lead off guy right now. Maybe switch things up to have Bregman or Tucker to leadoff?
It's funny how everyone called me crazy when I said we were being cheap for not at resigning him. Let's be real. Crane is PRINTING money yet payroll hasn't gone up a penny since last year even though we won a ring. Where's that money going exactly? We're 40 million below the payroll tax for what reason again? Why are the rangers spending as much as we are when we are trying build a dynasty?? I know I'm going get bashed but crane needs to pony up. Fans and the team are trying their best and it's his turn to pony up $$$ We're not asking him to spend Mets level spending but you should be spending atleast at the tax threshold. You're still making a healthy profit. Cmon
Pena needs to bat in the 6th spot until he can break out of his slump. When Altuve and Brantley get back. They will be 1 and 2.
