I know I am showing my Young bias but Feldman sounds dumb in this video. He basically said for two years starting in the SEC Young played one team with big players and that was LSU this year. What a joke
https://www.draftsharks.com/article/nfl-draft-prospect-model?ref=166032 Not sure if this worked. But kind of interesting way to look at rookies (through a fantasy football lens). Interesting players to look at: Bijan looks great, but so does Tajae Spears and Israel Abanikanda. Also really interested in Hyatt. anyways, please no more Anthony Richardson nonsense. If Clowney didn’t scare you away from athletic freaks that have nothing else.
Sure but I still wouldn't spend 1.12 on him, would you? Would rather target LB mid to late 2nd or 3rd. Of course it all depends on how the board shakes out.
"Panthers heavily leaning towards cj stroud, knocked the interviews out the park, likable guy, checked the boxes haven't heard anyone in that war room mention Young much except for the media. If it is up to Reich, it would be Richardson because of what he could be down the road 2-3 years from now" Same source had Jags last year picking Walker
Is there a confirmed report that the Texans are all in on Bryce only? Trying to figure out why is slightly concerning with the Texans?
No - merely opinion. Let me rephrase for you, slightly concerning for those who want Bryce to join the Texans. Better?
Of course. The Bryce talk is to see if the Texans will bite. Carolina would die laughing if Texans traded to 1 and they would still be able to get their guy at #2 (Stroud)
The more overtly positive things that come out regarding BY and Carolina the more it looks like they’re trying to bait Caserio into moving up to 1-1, sounds like Caserio has zero interest in moving up.
Yep. We have way too many needs to waste draft capital moving up to 1.1. I could see a scenario where we trade down from 1.2 or 1.12 and then trade back up if someone we really like drops within range. That also sounds more like Caserio type move.
Lance Z is providing the Texans with the service of predictive programming... He's attempting to get the reaction out of the way to the Texans not taking a QB at #2. Soften the impact for when it actually happens. This tactic is often deployed in corporate and political circumstances. But since Lance aced our picks last year...I'd say he's got the inside scoop. I'm thrilled actually because I have a 3rd round grade on Bryce Young and I think that if the Texans took him it would be a devastating setback to our rebuilding efforts.
I think that imo it's more that Nick sees zero NEED to move up rather than having zero interest. I think we probably do have a definite preference on which QB they want but don't want to state it publicly. And that CAR has a favorite that's NOT the one we want so there's no need to pay extra for something that will be there anyway. Lot's of secrecy, posturing, misinformation and fake news plants right and left. Here information really IS power. Who was that said another name for "draft season" could be "lying season"!
