Lance Z mentioned this last week on the air. He said that Stroud scored horribly on it as well.

I mean, kinda. All these numbers show me is that maybe tanner Mckee should be looked at more?

if this is a Levis push post then I mean he just wasn’t throwing as many balls… by far. Percentages will get worse as you throw more and more. The elite percentage is cool, but it’s just so many more throws that it’s hard to use this chart. I still say young, no thank you stroud (but I’ll get over it when it happens I guess) and maybe McKee? But again this is just looking at this chart. So if McKee is a terrible pick then let’s not bump Levis either.. that being said, I’ll take levis over Richardson every day of the week.

The problem is if you settle for a good one when you want (and pay for in draft assets) a GREAT ONE. And there's no way of knowing with certainty which is which.

So many here are so QB centric, they'd rather have a good QB than a GREAT non-QB player. And I have to caution myself that the same QB concerns apply to Williams and Mayes in next years draft.

I've got more faith in Ryans than I do any draft choice. And no matter what else you think of Caserio, he does work the draft picks well to get targeted players without just throwing value away.

But as fans go, I've been out of touch for about a decade. I'm sure my interest will wain after the draft.

If Stroud scored horribly and Carolina takes Young, the Texans definitely need to trade down. This test is the best predictor of QB success in the NFL.

No one said Stroud scored horribly. Matter of fact, the class as whole was the best. They just said Young scored the best. You have to understand all this noise is to convince the Texans to trade up. The Texans haven’t engaged the Panthers and that’s why you continue to see “Panthers love Young” or “Young is the Panthers’ guy”.

Lance… the gentleman that gave us Tyree at 2 and trading future assets to go get Levis.. I’m not sure I trust anything he says at the moment! But either way I’ll still take CJ at 2 if he is there..

    He’s usually pretty spot on.

CJ would be the worst possible outcome of any of the draft picks.

I know Lance got both FRPs for the Texans right last year but if he makes a mock closer to 3 weeks from now and it's Tyree then I would be more worried

I am actually coming around on CJ; super accurate, great size, more of an athlete than we think

He’s solid size, accurate but he isn’t an athlete…at all. Specially compared to the other 3 of the top 4.
    Mills is a better athlete

I didn’t know Bryce signed on with David Mulugheta also.. I wonder if people will have reservations the same way they have for Cj?

I just don’t see it that way.. and I don’t think other teams see it that way as well. With Cj being considered as the 1st pick by Carolina, I don’t know how it being the worst case scenario taking him at 2 o_O

Absolutely, if that’s his agent I don’t want him
