Why Heidi stays married to this puke is as big of a mystery as Trump still walking free after all these years of corruption.
I’m not a fan of participation trophies and I’ve even given away trophies that I didn’t think I earned. This though doesn’t rise to the level of needing regulation or legislation. It’s another example of party of small government injecting government into more and more of our private lives
IMO MTG came off as an idiot in that interview, labeling all Dems as pedophiles was not very bright and her non answers were typical, she looked like the lunatic she is
It's hard for an idiot not to sound like an idiot. Facts is that she is surrounded by a bunch of men in her own party accused of some pretty bad stuff when it comes to minors and rape, sex trafficking, and turning blind eyes to sexual assaults. Pretty sad for a woman to have to support that party, but then again, she's got a lot of dirty secrets of her own for someone touting White Christian beliefs.
As an aside, if anything it's only the government-run leagues that should have participation trophies. Like public schools, public leagues should be catering to the whole public, including those who are bad at sports. Leave it to the free market to run competitive leagues.
Looking really good for the Dems to flip the Wisconsin Supreme Court tonight. Assuming the US Supreme Court doesn't go nuclear with the ISL doctrine, the Wisconsin gerrymander might see its end this year. And the Dems are in contention to break the super majority in the State Senate via a separate special election.
Republicans in utter disarray. They're going completely implode after 2024. It'll be so glorious to watch. I'll quote this post after the next General
I’m in the Wisconsin media market and felt confident that Kelly would lost that race. Kelly just didn’t appear to be a good candidate but pushed hot button conservative issues. To be fair so did Protosaiweicz Kelly has other baggage too. this race though showed how unpopular Conservative positions have become. Abortion isn’t a winning issue for them, so a their positions in firearms, and for all the thunder about Trans and wokeness it doesn’t appear to be something most people care about. It’s only the gerrymandering advantage built in that is keeping WI from going to a democratic majority state like MN and MI.
Watch out for the fakes...this could be a problem in the near future pulling the old switcheroo. North Carolina Lawmaker Switches Parties, Gives Republicans Unlimited Power A Democratic state legislator in North Carolina is switching parties just three months after being sworn-in, giving North Carolina Republicans the ability to pursue their agenda with a veto-proof majority over Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper. Rep. Tricia Cotham’s decision sparked fears that Republicans would use their new power to pursue legislation such as an abortion ban, in a state that’s become an unlikely outpost for abortion access since Roe v Wade was overturned last year. Cotham’s switch was first reported by Axios Raleigh on Tuesday. She did not respond to a request for comment from VICE News Tuesday, but that afternoon, her staff cleared out her desk on the Democratic side of the aisle and she took her place on the Republican side. A press conference with Cotham and North Carolina Republican leaders was scheduled for Wednesday morning at the North Carolina GOP’s Raleigh headquarters. Democratic party leaders forcefully condemned Cotham’s move. Rep. Robert Reives, the leader of Cotham’s now-former caucus, blasted her in a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying she betrayed her Democratic-leaning constituents and the values she campaigned for, and calling for her resignation. “That is not the person that was presented to the voters of House District 112. That is not the person those constituents campaigned for in a hard primary, and who they championed in a general election in a 60 percent Democratic district,” Reives said. “Those constituents deserved to know what values were most important to their elected representative.” Rest: https://www.vice.com/en/article/5d9pqa/north-carolina-tricia-cotham-abortion
