Seems you missed the context of the conversation -- funny/silly questions were being asked. Go back and follow it

I really did mean "shot clock". The new pitch timer is shown on the score graphic

I just misread it. Nothing more, nothing less. you can laugh or cry as your eyes go bad. I choose to laugh.

Yordan will either DH or DNP tomorrow

Dusty mentioned in postgame interview the team worried about his legs since he didn't play much in ST

His gettup and hose has got to gettup a whole lot faster, immediately get to your throwing side and go.

It's really promising though, he's fun to watch. Maldy spoils all of us.

The one stolen base on him wasn’t on him though. Totally on the pitcher.

    Exactly.

The quick gettup and throw...that's what catchers are rated on.

My theory is Dustys always had a soft spot for Jake Meyers because he initially played well in his debut at the end of the ‘21 season leading into the playoffs. Then of course got hurt going all out crashing into the wall trying to make a big play. Maybe a little bit of guilt because he has so much momentum that got derailed under his watch. Dusty then kept giving him chance after chance last season when eventually it became more obvious Chas was outperforming him. What Dusty probably doesn’t realize is that he made the situation much worse mentally for Jake putting him out there opening game over the playoff hero who most fans are going to ride heavy for. Now all I’m seeing is vitriol and hate going Jakes way when it all easily could’ve been avoided. Feels like he was sort of setup for failure.

    TLDR: Dusty gonna Dusty

I started panicking after game 1, and they won two in a row. I’ll be damned if I stop now.

Did you know that Texas has 4x our run differential, and the Angels almost 2x? At this point, let’s hope we can hold off NYY for the second wild card.

Try as we might, sometimes the name is translated or spelled differently in different places. I just caught Jainer after using alternate sites with different spellings (Janier) and I have also seen Yordan spelled Jordan on some sites. At this point, I try to use Baseball Reference spellings. I suppose those who watch the games and see spellings on the jerseys could be used as the standard.

But if a player expresses a preference, go with it. It's like the Small engine shop run by two Brothers where one anglacizes his preference and one uses the Cajun pronunciation. Hebert and Hebert pronounced HE bert and A bear.
