JB will absolutely be involved with any move made, or not made, by Stevens/Cs. And Brown will not, not not not, be coming to TheToyShop’s home dressing room. Period. FACT. Atlanta? Mebbe. Clips? Mebbe. Dallas? Check: Luka. If LD demands out then Kyrie/Brown’s tight relationship should be monitored.
Nope. No deal. It’s a pointless lateral move and you’re receiving an older player who’s about to get paid. Green could end up better as well.
Not trippin at all. Go look at the trades for Donovan Mitchell, Dejounte Murray, and Gobert. I’d rather have Brown than any of those three.
He hasn't said he wants out. But, he's not happy about being tossed in the trade proposal for KD. His name has been in other trade rumors as well. The assumption is he wants to be treated like other star players that teams just shut down trade discussions on.
Sooo....the Rockets plan to execute the exact plan they laid out three years ago and have adhered to since. Cool.
You do know that the Celtics absolutely laugh and hang up the phone at the idea of replacing Brown with Green, then take the phone and throw it the Charles River, then engage a contractor to dredge that part of the river and fill it in
Because Jalen Brown at Green's age was a worse player. If you are disappointed with Jalen Green I can't fathom what you would do with Jaylen Brown when he was in his second year averaging more turnovers than assists and on a much better roster which means his numbers would look even worse. In a sense this is a trade both teams would say no to because it's more of a timeline issue. Jalen Green isn't ready to win now like Brown a 26 year old player who's finished developing. The Celtics are in win now mode. The Rockets aren't looking to win now. They are looking to develop a core of young players especially if we draft a Wemby or Scoot and Green matches that timeline better than Brown.
Well any of the first rounders we draft could end up better than Green so losing Green isn’t that big of a deal when you get back an All NBA TEAM ALL STAR
I wouldnt Be surprise if this was the case. Philly gave Brett Brown a year to compete. That one year also lines up with KPj only guaranteed year. If it ultimately doesn’t show major improvements next season, they can drop two birds with one stone
I was really hoping to wake up to one of those seismic April fools on the front page @Clutch. Something along the lines of dream and Glyde formed a group to make a bid to Tilman.
Just like the Harden, Kyrie, Durant trades fans think they can get equal value and they can’t. If Brown becomes available It’s going to be the same old Herro, Siakim, Bridges, type players offered. Green is just as valuable as those guys. Boston will likely consider trading their disgruntled guy for another like Brown for Trae Young, KAT, or LaVine since they are in their contention window. Ultimately if it becomes who can offer the best and most picks then Houston and maybe OKC are head of the line.
