Only surprise is that it has taken this long. Can't wait to see him found guilty. The main indictments are still to come in regards to 11,800 votes coercion attempt in Georgia, his role in the Jan 6th riot and coup attempt, his illegal hiding of classified material after leaving office. Am I forgetting anything?

Wish it was possible to throw all of these at him all at once. He is such a treasonous, lying, selfish, disingenuous, corrupt person. Time for trump to face the music. Personally I am tired of him and his wannabe trumps getting away with destroying our country. He has been an epic failure and will go down in history as the worst president by a large margin.

He will likely share a cell with one of his sheep that will gladly be his bottom.

The Republican party needs its Austin Rivers candidate so when he or she starts rising in the polls, you can exclaim "Here comes Austin Rivers!" before Trump ultimately beats them

A felony conviction, house arrest and a fetching ankle monitor would suffice. Of course, Trump is a One Man Crime Wave and would violate the terms and conditions of the house arrest, so he might just get to spend some time at Club Fed.

If Trump is guilty, I hope he serves some time, but he will probably just get a slap on the wrist. That's the power of being a former POTUS with political influence and money to afford lawyers to defend him. This is just a reflection of our justice system - people with political power and money will have a much better chance of getting a favorable outcome than someone like Joe the plumber.

The reaction from the right is what is sad. Trump will get more than a fair shake to defend himself. But the right doesn't want a fair shake; they want him to be untouchable.

This historic indictment of the twice impeached former president will likely take a lengthy time to run its course. Meanwhile three other more potentially damaging cases are winding their way towards probable future indictments against trump as well. The case of the 11,800 vote coercion in Georgia should be easy to litigate. The case of the riot/coup attempt led by trump should be easy to litigate. Already 100's of trumpers have been tried, convicted and assessed jail time for their role in this riot/coup attempt. Doesn't it stand to reason that the person and other people that represent the head of the snake should be held accountable as well?

The other potential case involving the stolen classified documents, while important, is on the same level of criminality as the paid off p*rn star case. Probably not going to lead to jail time but some sort of combination of slap on the wrist and or monetary judgement. The 11,800 vote coercion case in Georgia and the failed riot/coup attempt case both have the potential to lead to jail time for trump. As more evidence and facts come out, I would not be surprised if the p*rn star payoff and stolen classified document cases take a back seat to these other two more important cases.

The integrity of our constitution and our rule of law in this country are at stake. As far as this process being a witch hunt, the twice impeached former president has nobody to blame but himself for the mess he has gotten himself in to.
