Because those numbers were from early in the year and are inflated, this yr age and injuries have really caught up with him so fast seemingly over night around valentines day. It happens, I don't want to be the team that signs max player for 4 more yrs when he is declining fast , just stupid honestly and bad management if we do that. Does that make sense for u or are u so enamored with harden that I'm talking to deaf ears?
This definitely now applies to LeBron ..especially since he became a Laker, but up until that point I see where you coming from, even with those severe looking ankle rolls and mysterious cramping up while with his previous teams, he just shrugged it off for most part
you’re just making stuff up…Harden’s averaged 21, 7, and 11 since “Valentine’s Day” on 41/37/89 splits, and that includes the 2 extremely subpar games he just had…taking those 2 games out and his numbers are 24, 6, and 11 on 45/43/89 splits So wth are u talking about?
"I don't know where it came from. It's been bothering me for some months, I would say," Harden said after finishing with 15 points and 12 assists in 38 minutes in Wednesday night's 116-108 win over the Dallas Mavericks. "I just wanted to continue to play on it, and there was one point to where the last game I played, [it was] just really unbearable so I couldn't even go out there. Harden indicated he's going to have to continue to monitor and maintain his Achilles moving forward. "After the game, I went into the weight room and did some tendon-loading and things like that, for the Achilles, my lower body, my calves, things like that," Harden said. "Tomorrow I'll do something, after the game [against Toronto], Friday I'll do something, it's just making sure I'm on it."
It certainly appears, to meat least, that Papa Time is having his way. Harden has had trouble with niggling injuries since leaving home, err the Rox. Reason 3004 I wish him well, just not back here on a max.
He’s played a TON of NBA basketball, you know it’s going to take its toll. An Achilles injury at this stage of Harden’s career could be the one that is too difficult to recover from. Honestly, I’d pass on a reunion with Harden if I was the Rockets. Especially at max dollars.
Ever since the NBA took his arm foul baiting hack his achilles flared up. Harden has a ton of miles not playing defense or running across the court, he might have healthier knees than all of us who work 9 to 5 at 365 days out the year.
Any bum could lead the league in points created off assists just giving it to Embiid all game every game. Proof : Harden just dumps the ball to Embiid all game every game and is gifted assist points without doing anything special. Harden is a bum. Bulletproof.
Lol, these are the kind of takes that make you realize chat gpt is already smarter than the dumber half of our population.
With Harden kind of having a rough finish to the season, Philly's cap situation, and Maxey playing well, very possible Philly actually decides to go a different direction in the offseason depending on what happens in the playoffs. If that happens, Harden may have a hard time getting a full-max deal given the lack of teams with cap space. Wonder if there's any possibility we could end up picking him up for something like 3 years/$130M? Barring a big trade to free up space, the only other teams that could compete with that would be Utah and San Antonio. I very much doubt we'll find a better player or combination of players to drop $43M AAV on during that time. Maybe if everything goes perfectly we're ready to contend on the third year of that deal, but Harden could still be a good contributor then.
