Jokic is 53rd in the entire league in time of possession with the ball in his hands at 4.4 minutes per game. His teammate Murray has it a good deal more than him at 5.7 minutes per game. It’s the biggest reason his big assist numbers are so impressive. Compared to just about every other high assist guy in the league he hardly needs the ball at all in comparison.

It's not his fault the rules have been changed to favor the offensive player. You can't discount him because of stupid rule changes that are out of his hands.

Embiid actively cares about the MVP race. Before not playing against Denver, I think I read that Embiid was throwing shade at Jokic on the same day or a day prior.

With Jokic, you know you're not going to get anything substantial when it comes to MVP questions, so there's no point in fanning the flames when it comes to Jokic.

yeah, we can go ahead and put an end to this thread

Embiid should win MVP in a landslide

he is the most dominant big man in the NBA, and he doesn’t hemorrhage points on the defensive end

Jokic is coasting toward the playoffs. He's not motivated to get another MVP. Embiid on the other hand...
