I know his movies can be divisive but Grand Hotel Budapest and The Royal Tenenbaums is a personal favorites of mine.....
They are a little weird, and I think that’s the charm for some people. I like how flawed his characters are, and the subtle humor. I’m not some massive fan of Wes Anderson, I just appreciate his take on filmmaking.
I'm into this. Love that it's spacey and deserty. Moonrise Kingdom was worth a watch/mention too. I understand that the unbearable whiteness of twee-ing is a factor though.
It's out June 16: "The itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention (organized to bring together students and parents from across the country for fellowship and scholarly competition) is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events." Full Cast: Jason Schwartzman Scarlett Johansson Tom Hanks Jeffrey Wright Tilda Swinton Bryan Cranston Edward Norton Adrien Brody Liev Schreiber Hope Davis Stephen Park Rupert Friend Maya Hawke Steve Carell Matt Dillon Hong Chau Willem Dafoe Margot Robbie Tony Revolori Jake Ryan Jeff Goldblum
What's really weird is that no director on the planet has more great actors wanting to work with him...
yeah. im def hating on Wes, but I agree. We need these kind of weird ass films now more than ever. quirky films need love too to break from the blockbusters and superhero films
I think I post this in every Wes Andersen thread. I dont care that you've already seen it, it still makes me laugh.
We don't need trailers for Wes Anderson movies or Marvel movies anymore. I'm not saying stop making them. We just don't need the trailer.
