Rushmore and Cat Stevens. I love this movie so much. I could only find this clip, not the entire scene:

Over the Edge and Cheap Trick (anyone else remember this movie?

Boyhood and Family of the Year

    Yes. Yes I do.

Also, now I need to watch Rushmore yet again. And then Royal Tenenbaums.

Wes Anderson slow-mo music montages deserves it's own thread.

Not one post about “Glory” with the scene of Matthew Broderick on the beach looking out at the ocean for the last time before they invade the fort while the powerful music roars?

This one is widely considered to be one of the most iconic scenes in cinematic history. Right up there with "I know if was you, Fredo. You broke my heart."

Boycotted because Jack Black butchered it...BUTCHERED IT...on BUTCHER PAPER...in "The Holiday" at a Blockbuster.

    I hate that man!

    Just kidding!

The Goodfellas long take scene reminded me of this.

I hadn't heard that in a long time and stumbled a bit in the beginning. Then it all came back to me and it was good.

This was my favorite movie as a kid. I love how the music crescendos as they zoom in on the Dome. Still gives me chills. There's a better scene when they show it from the hotel room and play the same piece, but I couldn't find it.
