    Trump is the GOAT grifter

    1st ballot HOF fraudster

I almost gotta tip my cap to the guy

he can turn anything into a successful fundraiser

he could turn a check engine light into a million dollars in donations for transportation costs

And yet it was so obvious. This thread has 19 pages. The left can't get enough of him.

No one believed him, it’s a nice thought and all but you’re reaching hard per the usual.

Wow, that's at least 300 people. Now only 74,999,700 more to go! He's clearly got this in the bag.

Im listening to Tacopino Trump’s lawyer on Meet the Press and it’s sad the lengths he’s going to try to justify the payment made to Stormy Daniels..

It’s comical. You could see it in his eyes he wasn’t believing his own bull****.

This is such a stupid take and shows your bias. Because of Trumps lies the heads of the REPUBLICAN House literally started an investigation and sent threatening notices to a state DA who is out of their jurisdiction.

The intended purpose of Trump getting ahead of what he thought might or might not be coming was 110% for Republicans and their voters. His intentions were:

-Force Republican heads to rally around him
-boost his primary standing with base voter juicing
-Get House Republicans to investigate and threaten Bragg, Willis, Smith so they might think twice about going through with an indictment
-Get media attention and name in headlines

Nowhere in Trumps mind was he thinking… oh man if only I can get Liberals to post more on my thread on a Houston basketball forum.

We are talking about it because it would be the first time in the history of our country that a president was indicted unless you believe the story about Ulysses S Grant getting a speeding ticket for riding his horse and buggy too fast.

LOL, you're definitely right about that, but to @Space Ghost 's credit, you could see the literal f*ing glee in the editorial pages of the WaPo that they had an excuse to spend columns debating DJT and his strategery, where this positions him in the coming election, etc. I've had friends leave WaPo editorial staff b/c of that rag's Trump obsessions.

I don't think we're overly obsessed on this BBS, despite what some say, but there are definitely corners of liberaldom who crave more Trump news and love to loathe him in some weird way.

The liberal media was actually pretty measured imo. When I tuned into MSNBC they always were pointing out that Trumps claim was baseless, and had measured former prosecutors doing most of the commentary.

There’s no question that Trump news is good for tv ratings. Of course they have been gleeful about the bump in ratings. And of course Trump trolled them… but who the hell trolls the media by lying about getting arrested??

Kamala Harris’ strategists probably want her to be in the news more in order to boost her ability to be the primary contender to beat in 2028. If Kamala tweeted this morning that the Dallas County DA was going to arrest her tomorrow morning, and that didn’t happen, would jackasses like SpaceGhost be here on Wednesday talking about how brilliant Kamala was because FoxNews covered the Kamala Harris indictment watch???

The deference that people like SpaceGhost give to Trump is because if you gave him truth serum he’d admit that he hates Liberals sooo much that he has blinders on with Trumps idiocy and roots for him
in order to make him feel empowered against the liberals he so despises. It’s honestly pathetic and SpaceGhost isn’t alone. We see this with losers like Glenn Greenwald and Tulsi Gabbard as well. Liberals were nice enough to me.. boo hoo. I didn’t vote for and don’t support Trump but boyyyy do I do take joy in seeing him politically succeed against the Democratic Party.

"the left" arent the ones who donated a bunch of money to him after he made his fake news announcement about getting arrested. that would be his dumbass supporters, who were willingly conned by him once again.

Trump's fans sent him $1.5 million in 3 days after he falsely predicted that he'd be arrested Tuesday

Democrats spent millions boosting ultra right candidates in midterms.

It was pretty obvious that he lied, as the NYT pretty much said so also. Almost all posters here said so as well.

The end result is that Trump worked his MAGA base up into a frenzy, just like he did on January 6th. We all knew where this was heading and where it would lead. Just like some of us had a pretty good idea where Trump's big lie about the election was going, while some folks insisted it wouldn't be anything. They were wrong, and those same folks are now downplaying or ignoring the same tactic from Trump. With that background and history, instead of calling Trump out, they are going along with his line of attacks, defending him so much that an indictment is just not acceptable. As long as they refuse to let him go, he isn't going anywhere.

Anyone who ever considers Trump for any government position again should be extremely ashamed. Today, that includes most of the Republican leadership. A huge number of Republican voters also fall into this category.

The "left" would much rather have the msm have 24/7 news coverage of how evil landlords are lol. What is your fasciation with having a such a absurd misconstrued view of the left? Why is the left you are referring to?

Also how the **** do you not think a former president on a media platform saying he's going to be the first president to get criminal charges in American history in a week not going to generate massive news hoopla? What insane world do you live in?
