Watching this game it is pretty clear to me part of the reason the Rox suck is because they lack the paint protection a more traditional and bigger center provides. It isn't as big an issue vs teams that like to shoot 3s but against more tradiitional teams who like to penetrate like Grizzlies the Rox are always exposed.

Boban for example is only -4 in 10 mins while Sengun is -18 in 25. And Boban isn't even a rotational quality big lol, it shows how badly the Rox need a defensive bigman ala Jarett Allen or Walker Kessler.

Like that highlight where the Grizz were stunting on Sengun, man I love Sengun but we need an alternative when he is getting exposed.

@J.R. I would pay pay per view rates to see Rasheed Wallace do a post game with this team.

Those mofos really launched 42 three pointers and hit 60% of them.

They made 25 3pt (75 points), Rox made 7 (21 points), the difference is 54 points and you think the problem was C and tonight's Grizzlies was a penetrating team, not "that like to shoot 3s".

    Interesting.

I do not think Sengun was there mentally and don't give a f... for Silas system but he was not worse than other starters, especially from our combo guards. An average coach would ask to guards and KJM to defend Bane&Kennard more heavily and it would be competitive game, not a circus.

    60 % came from Bane &Kennard.

Guess Alp did not defend them properly. As we expect no defence from KPJ/KJM/JGreen, Alp is the sole responsible to defend shooting guards. Trade him asap.

It's clear that the Rockets' perimeter D needs to be fixed more than anything. Doesn't matter who's at the rim.

This team is an embarrassment. It's like they don't even try on defense. And what happened to Sengun as a facilitator? He seems checked out. He should get more than two assists in a game just by showing up. This season can't end soon enough.

Did we really lose by 37 points. Just when I start feeling the slightest bit positive about the team, the put in this kind of performance.
