come on, you’re doing mental gymnastics here. You literally stated that you think the right is the one that has perpetrated injustices and blacks are expected to vote liberal as a result. It’s literally proving my point. Rather than listen to these people and see why they vote a certain way (conservative black men are usually extremely educated and high earning when compared to their peers) their experience is discounted and they are ostracized

if u are well spoken and willing to tap dance for conservatives, u will get an easy following

a black face to attack the black race is what they want

don’t ever step out of line tho, are u will get tossed to the curb quick

You clog this board with outrageously insignificant examples of “oppression” and then whine when we laugh at it. You might as well post TikTok videos of someone complaining that they lost the high school talent show because they weren’t one of the popular kids. Sure it may be true but it isn’t meaningful in light of the real oppression occurring daily by conservatives.

But let me be clear - nobody “owes” liberals their vote or support. But liberals are perfectly entitled to say WTF to people who side with their oppressors.

Again, you’re saying you understand the issues and personal experiences Better than said individual and that the “wtf” behind his allegiance is something you comprehend and he is not able to. I mean it’s not like his personal experiences and reasoning is important, you feel entitled enough to dictate how someone *should* vote etc.

how do you not see the overt racism here? It’s like I said something and a large portion of you guys decided to prove me right without still realizing it.

You could say that about most prominent folks.

Except the ladies on "the view". They seem genuine with their wack opinions.

    Who are "they"?

    And what should "they" admit?

And what is "low key mean"?

    There are questions.

The meanness-is-the-point conservatives are teaching liberals a master class in meanness. And the liberals are proving to be poor students … surprising since the liberals are always flaunting their intellectual, educational bona fides. Ironic even.

    I need to clarify:

You're using "mean" as in "average", right?

How else would you be using it?

    Do explain.

Yes if he was denied service because of his political views and nothing else that is discrimination. I will point out again that many in the Right have argued for allowing businesses to discriminate in such ways.

Of course there are two sides to the story and as I noted if he was harassing other customers or staff that would be another matter. If he just happened to be speaking loudly my question would be how loudly? It’s not unusual at a bar or restaurant to overhear people’s conversation. In the article though it specifically said it wasn’t the volume of what they were saying as being disruptive but the content of what they were discussing. That then is denying service in the basis of political beliefs and not on the basis of they their volume was disruptive.

Come on down to East Texas then…. There’s certainly snobbiness with liberals but conservatives are getting downright dangerous

If you are saying women should be slaves loud enough for an entire restaurant to hear it, that's not a political belief you are being kicked out for. People have a right to eat a meal in peace without having to hear a live roundtable of sexism and even politics. If they didn't speak so loudly no one would care what they said, so in a matter yes they were kicked out for being loud as well. It even says they were uncomfortable with the "language" being used.

Fact is none of us know the facts, only have one side, and there is some evidence that this went beyond political beliefs.

You can choose to believe the fox news host, but I am betting the store owners side is more accurate

They also posted a caption on Instagram that read in part: “A group of people came in, ordered their food, sat in the inside corner, and talked quite loudly for over an hour. A lot of what they were discussing was very troubling, specifically when talking about women in degrading ways, as well as using eugenic arguments around their thoughts on Roe v. Wade. Their behavior and their words made other folks in the space as well as the one of us working very uncomfortable. Once it was clear that they were finished with their meal, we told them that our views don't align, and that the language they were using was unwelcome in our space. One person in the group said 'that is your business model, and I respect that' as a space co-owned by black folks and women, we firmly stand by our zero tolerance policy.”

nobody wanted to hear his loud political bullsh*t for an hour while eating

be for real, if u were in a restaurant and someone was loudly talking about politics the whole time, would u not want them to stfu

it’s a turnoff to the customers

go talk that sh*t in the parking lot, or better yet, go debate about abortion and women at home

this is a good opportunity to grift tho…never heard of this dude until now, and not only have I now heard of him, I now know he has a book too…he can milk this for a week or 2

The business should be able to refuse to serve him or ask him to leave. It was also pretty BS that he tried to play the race card. She didn't kick him out (after the meal was already over) because he was black, but because she didn't like what he had to say.
