    Article/Graphics are from 2019, so a little outdated…

    +1 Brady
    +1 Stafford (6’3)
    +2 Mahomes (6’3)
    Super Bowl titles by height

    Decade breakdown
According to Profootballreference.com, there have been 60 NFL QBs less than six feet tall that have appeared in at least one NFL game.

Only five — Russell Wilson, BJ Daniels, Marques Hagans, Seneca Wallace and Joe Hamilton -- made their NFL debuts in the last 30 years. Only Wilson and Wallace started games in the NFL and Hagans moved over to wide receiver.

Here's a breakdown of QBs less than six feet tall by decade (for players who appeared in multiple decades, they are counted in the decade that they made their first appearance).

Fun fact: Jeff George had the smoothest brain ever measured at the combine.

No he disagrees Bryce is not worthy of a number 2 pick. I do believe he says he should be the first QB off the board.

I agree. But he’s supposedly a genius, scouts said he will ace the whiteboards.

Yeah man, I get it. I definitely get the apprehension. I also get the I'm being a bit bullish on the guy and hoping for the best. I just think it's such a need, and he has all the traits in every other aspect of his game that you have to overlook the size - even though it's a huge deal.

Kyler at the Combine was recorded at 5-10 and 1/8th of an inch and Bryce Young at the Combine was recorded at 5-10 and 1/8th of an inch.

No one picked at #2 has been that height, however, someone at #1 has been. So not entirely "unprecedented territory"

He can go be a banker or stock broker when he flames out in the NFL.

Just FYI for everyone: In regards to Fran Tarkenton being 6'0", this from his former HC (Bud Grant) talking with Pete Carroll about potentially drafting Russell Wilson...

“Pete Carroll called right before they drafted Wilson, and he said, ‘We’ve got this kid from Wisconsin. Have you seen him play? I haven’t studied him yet. What you think of him? Our scouts tell me he’s not very tall,’ ” Grant said.

“I said, ‘Well, how tall is he?’ He said, ‘He’s not 6-foot. How tall was (Fran) Tarkenton?’ I said, ‘Tarkenton was 5-10 and three quarters, and he owned (at one point) every passing record in the NFL.’ … I told him it’s not how tall you are, it’s how good you are, and it was no hindrance to Tarkenton.”

When I was a kid getting Fran's autograph during their Super Bowl against Miami he wasn't much taller than me and I was 5'9" and change at the time.
