This was probably the best game I have seen from KPJ, and he still had a few boneheaded moments in it. But at least he did not try to play hero ball all the time.

4th year vet. There is a pretty big difference here.

We are. That's why we criticize Sengun equally. The rebounding effort from Sengun in the first few minutes of the game, for instance.

KPJ has a history. The fact that he is quitting on plays when he doesn't get his way should be massively concerning to any unbiased observer... Doesn't matter how many Russ triple-doubles he has.

 

Only with kpj does their stan act like folks expecting more from their 4th year vet is a crime.

Man did played well today though but never forget kpj isnt a player with 2 years or less experience in the league like most of his younger teammates, gotta stop with that nonsense.

 

We look much better when he shoots less than Jalen/Sengun, etc.

 

Um, you can blame Sengun for quitting on plays as well. Lets not act like he isn't whining to the refs while his man is streaking down court for a layup. Sengun's NOTORIOUS for doing this. Have you ever critized him for this?

Players develop differently. Remember, he's only been playing the PG position for 1.5yrs

 

While both are not good, I rather a player be b****ing at a ref for a perceived bad call than a player pouting at his teammates because he isn't getting his way.

I love both KPJ and Sengun.

KPJ, the older guy, has a hell of a lot more growing up to do than Alperen Sengun.

 

For me, it's not all bad. I am fairly happy with KPJ this year.

That said, the moments of immaturity he displays on a reduced, but still semi-regular basis need to be rapidly eliminated. He is not talented enough to act like that. Hell, there are maybe 5 players that are.
