Oh, you're gonna suck it dude. You're just the only one who doesn't know it. For us it's practically a gift because there's so much laughter and joy coming to us in the future from bumping your posts. It's so good to have a free laugh waiting for you in the future. We're going to toast champagne in slow motion while saying things like

    "AND HE WAS SERIOUS!"

"OH AND REMEMBER HOW LONG HE HAD TO PRETEND HE'S BRITISH??"

Hahahahahahahaha you're a trip dude. We're all keeping an eye on you now so work extra hard on masking your identity ok? Don't get paranoid about it either.

Man, Chet couldn't even make 1 nba game before proving everyone right that his body type would cause him to be an injury risk.

It's not even just body type, Chet just looks sickly.

That's also why I say "if he ever plays". Foot injuries to bigs is always an issue and I don't see things getting better for him long term....but when he plays he'll likely be good.

Kind of like Yao....though not as good.

Man the NBA is a tough business.

Jabari looks like he should be a high schooler somewhere... and is still only 19 years old, but he is expected to hold his own against the top 30 players in the world.

Jabari just needs to become more comfortable on the floor, and to continue to refine his shot and putting the ball on the floor.

He doesn't need to be like a guard, but he needs to be able to put the ball on the floor, spin some, and get his shot off fluidily.

I am pretty confident that he will be able to do that with time, he is still 19 years old.

Not sure he is going to be a franchise player, but he can be the second best or third best player on a good playoff team.

It is also still possible that he proves to be the best overall player in his draft class. For all the things Banchero does well, he still has some real flaws as well.

He is still going to have a fair number of games like this, he is limited because of his handle and his two guards like to shoot a lot.

The key is going to be whether or not he bounces back quickly.

In a few years these games will become less and less common as the handle improves and his shot is more consistent.

Well he certainly needs to improve, but the things he needs to improve at are very doable and he is already showing signs of improvement.

Where I will disagree with you, if that he has been surprisingly effective as a shooter inside and around the rim... he is shooting nearly 75% inside of 3 feet, which is pretty good and bodes well for his future as a scorer in the NBA. He needs to improve in that 3-10 foot area and from 3. He is okay from the mid range, at 42%, but that isn't a shot he should take often unless he gets it over 50%.

He is at 12.5 points a game this year and that is why shooting a terrible 30% from 3 - but that is certainly going to improve, to at least 35-37% over the next season or two, and I expect him to shoot 38%-42% from that spot on the floor. If he starts hitting his 3's at a good percentage, that will really open up his offensive game. While he isn't efficient right now, he has a good chance to be a very efficient player.

He can be at 18-20 points a night without a lot of ball handling improvement - but even average improvement at that part of his game and he can be in the 22-25 points a game range because he is very difficult to block and can score from 3, inside and in the mid range.

So there are areas he needs to improve in, but there is a lot of upside there - probably not #1 scorer type upside, but certainly #2 or #3 scoring upside - and defensively he has all of the attributes to be very good to possibly All NBA Defense type good.

The only way that he is a bust is if he gets hurt.

He has all of the tools for the modern game.
