I think Jalen will be special, just going to take another year or two for him to put on enough strength and get enough reps to fully break out.

Also excited to see what he can do next season if we do get Harden. The kinda looks he's going to get are going to be night and day better.

 

Who is this guy and what has he done with NICE GUY SILAS?

 

He's so fast but it's pretty clear he's put on some strength since last season. He gets all the way to the rim and is absorbing so much more contact than his rookie season. I'd definitely like to see what he could do with more space. The shot is still streaky but he can generate points with drives and free throws in between hot streaks. Most of this team needs to improve from 3 and demand defenses play them honestly.

 

It's encouraging that he's actually adding the mass. There was the fear of him being a Jamal Crawford build his entire career. He's past that hurdle. He's definitely going to proggess to have some decent mass on him before he's 23. As long as he can matain the same quickness, he's going to be a 10 fta kinda player.

 

Pels changed their scheme clogged the lane and we had to beat them over the top, only Jalen and KPJ got the memo.

He's definitely gained more strength. But he's also taking a lot more bad shots at the rim this season compared to last. Part of it is because he is now the 1st option instead of 4th last year.

Even though he's getting to the line more he's also missing more at the rim which is messing with his efficiency

Just watch the better coaches of the West and East in their pressers.

Part of the growth part. He is still single minded about getting to the rim and rarely passes out of it. It’s a double edged sword, because getting to the line is going to be a big part of his scoring, but if he doesn’t improve his ability to pass all those calls he will get in the regular season will dry up in the playoffs. Officiating is the one thing I really hate about the league, whether its preferential treatment for the stars or the whole new game they invent for the playoffs.

 

What about the Jalen jerkoffs, Jabari junk posters and Silas sabotagers?

 

Don't know much about "Jalen jerkoffs" but you can at least laugh at people who trash Bari. Anyone who seeks to sabotage Silas's career here with the Rockets is right by me.

yup, the single mindedness is what is causing his inconsistencies and the super highs and lows. Honestly Jalen sometimes takes shots, even super stars would pass out of, when he makes them he looks like a hero, but when he misses it's really bad. He really needs to learn more than a pocket pass when he draws defenders on drives.

Last night he tried to hit Tari in the corner, but the ball had no speed, but the idea was there
