what the heck is going on here? This is ugly. I get how fans may like one player over another, and some healthy debate on who should be the top-dog is always welcome. But this is ugly, and I don’t get why this is happening when our guys are actually winning. We should be happy and positive.
I know man, you’re right. It’s just these Sengun fans don’t want people to like any other player on this team. We all have to buy in as Sengun being our franchise player and the next Hakeem, who’s gonna lead us to championships with no help
I agree. You have SOF and SOH in here that aren’t really Rockets fans. Alp/Green/Bari/Tari are our future. I know that drives a couple people (Maj/Rocketchamp/fchow) mad.
Lol in this thread you are the only one who said Sengun reaching Sabonis level is a stretch and I said otherwise. I'm literally having more praise for the player you say I hate than you do.
I also thought we were here to talk about basketball, but some Alpi fans--NOT ALL, NOT MOST, BUT SOME ALPI FANS keep on spewing trash that the moderators on this site seemingly refuse to do anything about. **** like "black-only fans", homophobic slurs, other really out of pocket things that I cannot believe a functioning adult in society would say. I am a huge fan of Green. I am a huge fan of Alpi. I really love Jabari, especially recently. And I'm starting to not like Clutchfans as much any more. It's getting to the point that I really do think I need to take a break from this site, because it's not really fun to be here a lot of the time.
As much as I hate using it, my clutchfans experience has greatly improved since I ignored Hakeemthegreat and King1, not so much for their opinions but the constant trolling and spam. The Texans and Astro forums are much more team fan friendly, I’m guessing because of the age differences and lack of European Fan only guys.
I just wish that we had a little more moderation here, not to curtail free speech or anything but to stop some of the really shitty things that people get away with saying but it's not like it's my site, and I am very grateful that this forum exists at all because I've had a great time discussing the Rockets and some occasional off topic stuff with yall
Active moderation is expensive and also involves moderators to make judgement. Once enough people ignore the spam it will go away. It is very difficult to legislate morality but governments and media constantly try to, because censorship is a powerful political tool as demonstrated by Hitler, Putin, and Xi.
not interacting and ignoring is the only way to go in my opinion. I took a look at my ignore list and it is full of KPJ stans, SOFs and SOHs who enjoy spitting at each other. I still get some anti Sengun spitting at myself because of my username every now and then but that's quite manageable compared to what my ignore list posts.
That's true, and I literally work in China so I should know better than to suggest censorship when it's literally what I complain about 24/7 and have been trying to counteract. I do think I'll have to start making use of the ignore function to keep my Clutchfans experience cool.
If people cannot engage thoughtfully, and you’ve read their one unchanging opinion or rant a few dozen times already, why keep reading it? Waste of time. Combo of liberal use of ignore and a gold membership to drop the ads makes clutchfans infinitely more enjoyable.

That is the problem with no hierarchy. Everyone out of Sengun, Green, Bari and even Eason are deserving of a max when they develop further. Head honcho would look for a max or near max as well. It's a luxury to have.
